Uva Uva

At Uva Uva, you can enjoy daily Italian dishes and carefully selected natural wines.

Pasta can be ordered from the regular à la carte menu available year-round or as part of an Omakase course plan featuring seasonal ingredients.

The pasta uses ingredients from Kanazawa and seasonal ingredients. There is also a wide variety of sauces, such as oil based and tomato based, along with many types of noodles.

The photo shows penne with Ishikawa no brand pork from Ishikawa Prefecture, which appeared on one day. One review said the herbs and basil smelled great and it was delicious.

The restaurant offers a wide range of natural wines, including bottles from small scale wineries, so you can discover lots of unique flavors.

There is also a great selection of wines by the glass, which makes it easy to pair them with the food.

ジャン棒

The arrabbiata comes in pasta about the size of rigatoni, which is large for penne. It mixes well with the sauce and goes great with wine. The squid ink pasta uses thin spaghettini, and the crunchy squid and rich flavor of the ink are excellent.

Ordered the Omakase dishes. The first of the Appetizers was onion mousse topped with benizuwai-gani (red snow crab) and shrimp. It was finished with a jelly on top. Enjoyed it with a lightly sparkling white wine from Hitomi Winery. There was also a salad with mizudako (giant Pacific octopus) and potatoes. Then came fritters of barracuda fish paste and white asparagus. The chilled pasta with tomato and peach was especially good. The pasta had a nice chew to it and tasted great. An Austrian rosé paired with it really well

RISTORANTE HARAGUCHI

This is an Italian restaurant by reservation only along the Saigawa (Sai River), which flows on the west side of Kanazawa Castle, in Katamachi, Kanazawa City.

The chef, who honed his skills at a famous restaurant in Kyoto, serves course meals that blend the delicacy of Japanese cuisine with Italian techniques.

The pasta is served as one dish in the lunch and dinner courses. The photo shows hotaruika (firefly squid) pasta from one of the courses, and its flavor is said to gently spread with each bite.

Depending on the menu, it features carefully selected ingredients such as seasonal vegetables and seafood.

The main dish in the dinner course may sometimes feature charcoal grilled Noto-gyu (Noto beef), a branded wagyu from Ishikawa Prefecture.

Not just the main meat, but also the sauce and the quality of the vegetables served alongside it are said to be extremely high, with no compromise made even in the smallest details.

チラ裏番長

What left the strongest impression was the hotaruika (firefly squid) pasta. Its seasoned juices gently spread with every bite. There are no off notes at all.

辣油は飲み物

A spaghetti dish made with charcoal grilled sanma (Pacific saury), negi (Japanese long onion) from Kiyoshi Noen, and Kyo shichimi (Kyoto seven spice). The pasta may be spaghettini. Its slightly thicker size pairs well with the strong flavor of the sanma. The sauce, emulsified with tomato and liver, is very appealing, and the negi is crisp and fragrant, adding a nice sweetness to the dish.

Shelves lined with bottles of seasonings, a blackboard painted with a map of Toscana, and antique style lighting create the atmosphere of a stylish trattoria.

This is a very satisfying dish that lets you enjoy a variety of Tuscan specialties little by little, with the authentic flavors the restaurant is known for.

One of the reasons our family comes to Kanazawa is this Kua Kua. Even though the chef was running the whole place solo yesterday, everything from the Appetizers to the handmade pasta, house made bread, and schiacciata was carefully done and excellent! Our kids were totally into it too and polished off the pasta, meat dishes, pork liver, and venison.

食べるの大好きなヨッチ

First, a toast with Italian beer! White fig and prosciutto... white?! Since more customers would be coming after this, we were told it would be smoother if we ordered early, so we went ahead and ordered a bunch of things. We ordered everything on the top row of the sign. Fig, sage fritto, and beet soup. Delicious! The beet soup was piping hot! The pasta was just right too! Delicious

It features thin pasta noodles topped with thick cut bacon, asparagus, and more. The creamy sauce, mellow onsen tamago (hot spring egg), and salty bacon go well together.

ひろっか5293

The pasta is quite thin, and the portion is fairly generous. This is a cream pasta with a soft, mellow taste from the onsen tamago (soft-cooked egg), balanced by the salty flavor of the bacon. I enjoyed dipping baguette into the cream left on the plate. This left me feeling pretty full.

・Peperoncino with noto-san (Noto-produced) yellowtail, fresh tomatoes, Kujo negi (Kyoto scallions), oba (perilla leaves), and a yuzu aroma
At first, the flavor of the yellowtail in the first bite of the pasta caught me off guard for a moment, but once I realized how well it worked in combo with the scallions, oba, tomatoes, and the other ingredients, it was so good that by the end I wanted to mop up every last bit of sauce left on the plate with bread.

・Cream sauce with kobako-gani (female snow crab) and spinach
The garlic-forward cream-based sauce is packed with kobako-gani. The texture of the uchiko (inner roe) and sotoko (outer roe) is so good, and I was happy to have it again after a long time. After finishing the pasta, I wiped up the sauce left on the plate with bread from Hirami Pan and finished every last bit. I really enjoyed my first kobako-gani of the season.

The light kick of chili pepper is a nice accent too. The carbonara has a rich, creamy sauce that coats the chewy pasta, while black pepper ties everything together. They offer contrasting kinds of deliciousness, and both are deeply Manzoku.

There was a very wide variety of pasta, and every option looked so appealing that it was hard to choose. With this much variety, I think you could come back many times and still enjoy it without getting bored. Overall, everything tasted good, and it made for a satisfying lunch time. The next time I am in the area, I would like to try a different pasta!

At Daciro, a makigama (wood fired oven) Neapolitan pizzeria, you can find a full lineup of authentic pasta dishes made by skilled chefs.

The pasta used comes in a wide variety, including spaghetti and linguine, selected to match each dish on the menu.

For fresh pasta, they also recommend the "Gnocchi Three Cheese Sauce," fragrant with cheeses like Gorgonzola and Grana Padano.

Packed with plenty of asari, this dish is said to leave you highly Manzoku.

The pasta also came with plenty of black truffle, and it made me realize how good fresh truffle can be. For dessert, I had cheesecake. It had a bit of a Basque-style feel. This was also rich and very tasty for a set dessert. Everything was so good that this is the kind of place that makes you want to come back at night, have some drinks, and try all sorts of dishes.

And the tagliatelle bolognese. The flat noodles cling well to the sauce, which combines the rich taste of tomato with the depth of Parmesan cheese. And S&B Grind Black Pepper brings the flavor together, making it very delicious.

At lunch, the pasta comes with salad and bread. You can dip the bread in the sauce and enjoy every last bite.

ちょいはげおやじ

I ordered the tokusei carbonara (special carbonara), which gets great reviews. For my drink, I chose the unusual azuki-cha (red bean tea). The salad arrived right away. Then the king of carbonara was served on a large plate. The rich combo of fresh cream and cheese, with egg yolk added, made it even more mellow, and the black pepper was a nice accent. It was every bit as good as people say.
