"Yoshokuya-san no Napolitan" is also one of the popular menu items, loaded with plenty of plump shrimp with a bouncy bite.
The rich tomato sauce goes perfectly with the chewy noodles. The tomatoes in the sauce are said to be meltingly soft, with the light aroma of green pepper adding a nice accent.

I ordered the lunch set with Hamburger Steak and fried shrimp. It’s a classic combo, but once you try it, both feel very carefully made. The Hamburger Steak is plump and juicy, and the rich demi-glace sauce goes perfectly with it. The flavor is gentle, but it still has plenty of umami and doesn’t feel rushed at all.

I was completely in the mood for curry that day, so I ordered the beef curry. The beef had been simmered slowly until it was fall-apart tender, soft enough to melt apart in your mouth. The rich, mellow roux had what you could call the finished form of yoshokuya (Japanese Western-style restaurant) curry, and it was a plate that reminded me once again just how good curry from a yoshokuya can be.

I ordered the Shinjuku Special. It comes with 3 Hamburger Steaks, rice, and one drink. The One Pound Hamburger Steak seems to come with 4 Hamburger Steaks. You can enjoy them with 3 kinds of sauce. They are meaty, spicy, piping hot, and delicious. I’ll come here whenever I’m craving Hamburger Steak.

・A Shinjuku-exclusive set of 3 kinds of Hamburger Steak: teriyaki, garlic, and cheddar cheese
The Hamburger Steak overall is not too soft, so you can really enjoy its meaty texture. It is fun to compare the 3 kinds, and I finished the whole meal without getting bored. The restaurant is a bit lively, but that also makes it just right for the feeling of really digging into meat in Shinjuku.

The fresh tartness of the lemon helps balance the richness of the steak, making it taste light and refreshing. They also have ginger and garlic sauces, so you can choose based on your mood that day.

I’ve visited Bambi in Subnade a few times. I ordered the Lemon Oroshi Hamburger Steak. The Hamburger Steak, served with grated daikon radish and lemon, was light and easy to eat, and it tasted great. Another nice touch is that if you show your receipt, you get a free drink on your next visit.

The Hamburger Steak comes on a sizzling Teppan-yaki plate, and the sound it makes as it is brought to the table really whets your appetite. The seasoning is fairly bold, so it will really hit the spot for people who like rich flavors. The meat is tender, and the vegetables on the side are also nicely cooked down and tasty overall.

I had lunch at Tsubame Grill, a long-established yoshoku (Japanese-style Western food) restaurant. The grilled scallops with herbs were nicely browned, and the rich flavor of the shellfish went very well with the aroma of the herbs, making them really delicious. In addition, a dish of orange tomatoes stuffed with cream cheese was fresh and memorable. It was a restaurant where I could relax and enjoy carefully prepared yoshoku that made the most of the ingredients' natural flavors.

The restaurant was not crowded, and with many single seats arranged in a fast-food style layout, I was satisfied to enjoy a Surprising Donkey plate that came quickly and had that reliably good taste. I thought the amount of rice might be a lot, but the Cheese Hamburger Steak with plenty of taco sauce was tasty all the way through.
