At lunchtime only, you can enjoy an All you can eat sushi course. After enjoying the daily recommendations, you can have your favorite toppings made into nigiri.
In the first half of the course, three pieces of uni (sea urchin) from different production regions are served, so you can enjoy comparing them.
食い道楽KAORU
Of course the uni, and also akagai himo (ark shell fringes), hirame (flounder), tairagai (pen shell), Fujisan Salmon, kanpachi (greater amberjack), and more were all delicious! You can get as many refills of the miso soup and gari (pickled ginger) as you like♪The toro-taku hand roll and negitoro hand roll were excellent too.

It was my first time eating sushi at the counter. When you order, they make it right away. You can get refills on the miso soup. After about 3 rounds, your favorite neta (sushi topping) comes around.

The lineup is packed not only with classic sushi toppings like tuna and salmon, but also rarer ones such as iwashi (sardine) and kurosoi (black rockfish).
One highlight is the aburi-style toppings, which they finish right in front of you. The light sear adds a nice toasty aroma and brings out the full flavor of the fish.
The iwashi (sardine) sushi was recommended seared because it was so rich with fat, so I had it that way. The kurosoi (black rockfish) was also recommended, and it was excellent too!

Both the neta (sushi topping) and shari (sushi rice) are in an easy-to-eat size, and everything tastes great. What especially stood out was the akaebi (red shrimp) cured with kombu kelp, and the satisfying shrimp was just right..

The sushi is said to focus on seasonal wild caught fish, with each piece shaped to bring out the natural flavor of the ingredients.
The popular maguro (tuna) uses fresh hon-maguro (Pacific bluefin tuna) caught in nearby waters. Because it is never frozen, you can fully enjoy all the good flavor the tuna has to offer.
The “Kiwami Course” is a 9-dish course that comes with one a la carte dish of your choice. It starts with otsumami (small appetizers), and also includes 6 pieces of nigiri sushi and dessert.
The nigiri sushi centers on standard toppings such as tuna, horse mackerel, and uni (sea urchin), and it is said to be very filling.

The otoro (fatty tuna) and uni (sea urchin) in particular are outstanding, with a melt-in-your-mouth richness that really stands out. Not only is the topping exceptionally fresh, but the sushi rice is also seasoned and balanced just right, showing the skill of the chef.

For the side menu, we ordered dashimaki tamago (Japanese rolled omelet), agebitashi (deep-fried vegetables soaked in broth), and shiroebi (white shrimp) tempura, and for sushi we ordered the maguro (tuna) 5-piece set and the recommended 5-piece set. Their futomaki (thick sushi roll) is a popular item, praised for its great balance of nori seaweed aroma and the tang of the sushi rice. It is packed with fillings such as cucumber, kanpyo (seasoned dried gourd strips), and egg, and is said to be quite satisfying.

I fully enjoyed crab along with sashimi (raw sliced seafood) and sushi made with fresh seafood to my heart’s content. Every piece showed careful craftsmanship, but the toro (fatty tuna) left the biggest impression. The moment it hit my mouth, it naturally melted apart, and the sweetness and rich flavor of its fine fat spread across my palate.

The shari (sushi rice) is appealing for its texture, which gently falls apart in your mouth.
It uses a blend of two carefully selected kinds of akazu (red vinegar), whose clean acidity and mild roundness really bring out the fresh good taste of the toppings.

The toppings are great, the sushi rice is tasty, and even the gari (pickled ginger) is carefully done, so of course everything is Manzoku.
