The specialty okonomiyaki is a Hiroshima-style version with noodles, and you can choose from two cooking styles.
The photo shows the "Buta Kimu Negi Cheese Yaki" loaded with green onions. It is made with firm, flat fresh noodles grilled until crisp, giving the ingredients a nice texture.

The dish in the photo is "Mochi Butter Bacon Yaki," topped with an extra cute chick made from uzura no tamago (quail egg).
They use extra-thick, soft, chewy fresh noodles. On top of the thin egg crepe and sauce, there is goshiki arare (five-color rice crackers).

• Pork Kimchi Negi Cheese Yaki with extra negi (green onion) topping, Men Pari
The generous pile of negi was impressive. When I tried it, true to the name Men Pari, the noodles were crisped up nicely, and that added texture made it surprisingly easy to really dig into. I was totally full, but still managed to finish it. It is outside my usual area, but this was a place worth going out of the way for.

・Chewy Mochi Butter Bacon Bake
The Most Popular mochi butter bacon is insanely good! It has a round shape, a little chick on top, and colorful arare (rice cracker bits) sprinkled over it, so it is almost too cute to handle. They cut it with something like an electric saw, and the cross section was unbelievably clean, which was amazing

The artistic design of the okonomiyaki (savory Japanese pancake) is sure to catch your eye.
The restaurant cooks its okonomiyaki in a cylindrical ring mold with no bottom called a cercle, which gives it a soft and airy texture, according to reviews.

The menu has a lineup that blends the appeal of Japanese and Western styles, with the restaurant’s own creative touch.
For okonomiyaki (Japanese savory pancake), in addition to the classic “Buta-dama” made with pork, they also serve stylish options like the “Tokusei Yaki Fromage Fondue-style Sauce.”

This Teppan-yaki bistro is great no matter what you order! The seasonal soup is a must have. This season, it's mushroom soup. The Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black Wagyu) is grilled on the teppan, so it's nice and juicy. The okonomiyaki (savory pancake), cooked in a circular mold, is super soft and excellent.

The recommendation is Hiroshima okonomiyaki (savory Japanese pancake), which is cooked by layering ingredients such as cabbage and noodles over a thin batter.
The restaurant’s Hiroshima okonomiyaki (savory Japanese pancake), perfected over many years, uses ingredients from the local production region.

For Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki (savory pancake), you can choose either thin soba noodles or thick udon noodles. The special sauce is also said to be very good, and some customers add more later to suit their taste.
The okonomiyaki with a wide range of toppings, named after players from Hiroshima’s professional baseball team, is also popular.

Inside the thin batter are heaps of cabbage and bean sprouts❗️The carefully selected fresh noodles are shipped straight from Hiroshima❗️They boil them right before placing them on the Teppan-yaki, so they have a great aroma, and though they are thin noodles, they still have a nice bite and work really well❗️Finished with a dropped egg and a generous topping of green onions❗️The squid is cut into dice-like pieces with a nice crisp bite, and it has plenty of sweetness too. On the table are Otafuku sauce and mayonnaise❗️

Jingu Chaya Kamimaezu Ten, right by Exit 4 of Kamimaezu Station, is known as a spot where you can enjoy monjayaki (Tokyo-style savory pan-fried batter) and okonomiyaki (Japanese savory pancake) cooked to just the right degree in a warm, homey atmosphere that only an independently run restaurant can offer.
The menu centers on authentic Asakusa monjayaki and okonomiyaki made with Mikawa pork, and they also offer a wide range of dishes that pair well with drinks, including Kagoshima local specialties made with fresh jidori (free-range chicken).

This is a rare type of okonomiyaki (savory Japanese pancake) made with ground pork from Aichi Prefecture. It features pork soboro (seasoned minced pork) with the extra fat removed and a soft, fluffy batter mixed with coarsely chopped cabbage.
The "Mix Tama (pork, squid, octopus, shrimp)" is a recommended dish with added seafood flavor.
Photograph:ジョージ13
The okonomiyaki also includes the Butatama Modan-yaki, which comes with fragrant special yakisoba noodles, and the Jingu Chaya-fu Hiroshima-yaki, packed with ingredients such as beni shoga (pickled ginger rhizome in plum vinegar).
Their okonomiyaki is said to be a satisfying size, about 25 cm in diameter and 3 cm thick.

They cook the monja (runny pan-fried batter dish) right in front of you, while the okonomiyaki (savory pancake) is brought to you already finished. The drinks also come quickly, which makes this a very likable place. I loved the Neba Trio, and the style of wrapping it in nori (seaweed) made it a perfect snack to go with drinks.

Okonomiyaki Shirakawa, an okonomiyaki and Teppan-yaki restaurant founded in 1969, is about a 1-minute walk from Exit 8 of Kamimaezu Station. While valuing its traditional flavors, it has continued to evolve and remains a long-loved spot.

The popular okonomiyaki (savory Japanese pancake) "W Shirakawa" comes with two kinds of cheese, mochi (rice cake), bacon, and more.
The cheese melts out from the soft, fluffy batter, and it also gets crisp and fragrant on the Teppan-yaki grill, which makes it especially tasty.

You can enjoy a wide range of flavors here, including modan-yaki (savory pancake with yakisoba noodles mixed into the batter) and the Taiwan style “Nira Niku,” made with spicy ground meat and garlic chives.
Sweet and spicy sauces, mayonnaise, and other condiments are available at the table, which is another nice touch since you can adjust the flavor to your liking.

They cooked the okonomiyaki (savory Japanese pancake) and brought it to the table. There is also a Teppan-yaki grill at each table, so you can cook it yourself. As other reviews also mention, the W Shirakawa was very good. I also had the gomoku okonomiyaki (mixed ingredient savory Japanese pancake) and yasai-itame yakisoba (stir-fried vegetable fried noodles), and everything was tasty. The okonomiyaki includes not only the standard options like "butatama (pork okonomiyaki)" and "kaisen (seafood)," but also modanyaki (okonomiyaki layered with yakisoba), with an irresistible sense of unity between the yakisoba, batter, and sauce.
"Fujiemi-yaki" is an unusual kind of okonomiyaki made with dashimaki tamago (rolled omelet with dashi) cooked with dashi and eggs, plus yakisoba.
まぶ グルメ(京都メイン)
The okonomiyaki (savory Japanese pancake) was a little on the small side, but it was fluffy and very tasty. We added mentaiko (spicy cod roe) to the monjayaki (savory pan-fried batter) and had it as mentai monjayaki. We had kimchi fried rice for the fried rice, and it had great umami and richness and was very tasty!

Ajito Kanayama is a hideaway-style Teppan-yaki izakaya with a sister restaurant in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. They offer a wide variety of drinks to match their menu, which includes okonomiyaki (savory pancake), monjayaki (runny pan-fried batter), a wide range of tapas, and meat dishes.
The name reflects their hope that it will become an ajito (hideout) where guests can spend time their own way.

Okonomiyaki (Japanese savory pancake) is made by steaming a batter with plenty of tororo (grated yam), giving it a soft and fluffy texture.
For gatherings with friends, a course that includes All you can drink and the house specialty "butatama" okonomiyaki comes in handy.

The "shrimp and avocado okonomiyaki" in the photo is said to have a spicy flavor from okonomiyaki sauce and Mexican-style Cobb sauce.
For a creative twist on okonomiyaki, they also have the "kaiseni kasumi no okonomiyaki (seafood squid ink okonomiyaki)," which stands out with the contrast between its black squid ink batter and white béchamel sauce.

・Pork tama
It was very good, and I had the pork tama okonomiyaki (savory Japanese pancake). It was excellent. The open counter also let us enjoy the staff’s performance in the kitchen. I’d like to go again.

The okonomiyaki (savory Japanese pancake) was light and fluffy with a creamy texture, and it was delicious. The ajillo also went perfectly with the baguette. It was so good you could drink the oil. The monjayaki (Tokyo-style savory pan-fried batter) took a while to cook, but it was great because I could eat it little by little at just the doneness I like. There were so many items on the menu, so I’d love to come back again.

Chorakutei is a popular restaurant serving authentic Hiroshima-yaki (Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki) by an owner from Hiroshima.
They also offer Hiroshima specialties like Wagyu kouné (part of the brisket), a Hiroshima favorite cut from near the cow’s foreleg, along with Hiroshima Imo Shochu and Japanese sake, so you can enjoy local flavors.

The Hiroshimayaki (Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki) uses vegetables sourced from a greengrocer that has done business with the restaurant for many years, as well as Domestic meat.
At Chorakutei, they are uncompromising not only about ingredient selection, but also about thoroughly controlling the temperature and humidity of the cabbage and bean sprouts.

A key part of Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki (savory pancake) is the noodles. They use custom-made chuka-men (Chinese noodles) that are light and not greasy.
The eggs are exceptionally fresh, laid that very day. The sauce is Otafuku Sauce, a standard favorite among people in Hiroshima Prefecture.

This is the kind of place where they cook it right in front of you on a wide Teppan-yaki grill, and you eat it straight from the grill. This style really is Hiroshimayaki (Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki). The cabbage in the Hiroshimayaki was nicely steamed and had a great texture. It was delicious.

The owner is from Hiroshima, so I came by hoping for an authentic taste. It really was the taste of Hiroshima! I got to enjoy some very high quality okonomiyaki (savory Japanese pancake). I also found Wagyu koune (brisket cut), which you do not often see in this area, and ordered it right away. It was excellent. This is a hospitality-filled izakaya (Japanese pub) where you can really feel Hiroshima.

Ichimuan Shinsakae is a restaurant tucked away on a backstreet, just a 3-minute walk from Shinsakae Station, where you can enjoy okonomiyaki (Japanese savory pancake) and Teppan-yaki dishes. Inside, filled with the aroma of sauce, you can enjoy Osaka-style okonomiyaki made by mixing the batter and ingredients together before cooking.

I’ve come back here a number of times. This okonomiyaki (savory Japanese pancake) spot sits on a small side street just off Hirokoji. I’m always happy that they serve ice-cold draft beer. And of course, the okonomiyaki and other snacks are tasty too. I’ll visit again when I’m craving flour-based comfort food♫

There are lots of items on the menu, so I think you can use it like an izakaya (Japanese pub), too! I ordered the small modan-yaki (modern-style savory pancake), cucumber, and eringi (king oyster mushroom) and pork belly stir-fried with garlic butter and ponzu sauce! It arrived in about 10 minutes! The service was quick, and everything tasted good!

In Anjo City, Aichi Prefecture, Okonomiyaki Mikawa Tadaya is said to have a new kind of batter texture that gets addictive.
The counter seats with polished, gleaming Teppan-yaki grills are popular for the live open-kitchen feel.

With the restaurant's own grilling method, they make okonomiyaki (savory Japanese pancake) with a crisp surface and a soft, melty inside.
The sauce, which is the key to the flavor of the okonomiyaki, has a nice kick of spices.

The mayonnaise pattern is beautiful. It has a nice thickness, with a crisp outside and a soft inside. The shrimp and pork also stand out in a big way♪ This okonomiyaki (savory Japanese pancake) somehow has both great taste and beauty. I had bookmarked it for ages, and now I wish I had come much sooner. I think I might start coming here regularly.

The yakisoba with crunchy bean sprouts and squid, and the okonomiyaki (Japanese savory pancake), were crisp on the outside and soft inside, and the sauce on top was spicy and so good! The sauce alone was something I wanted to buy and take home. The Teppan-yaki griddle at the table stays heated, so you can enjoy everything while it is still tasty until the very end. I made a reservation for opening time, but it filled up right after that, and about half of the guests had reservations.
