The roasters are specially tuned in house, allowing precise control over the heat from very low to high.
The staff attending your table grill each cut of meat, sliced to the ideal thickness for that part, at the best heat level.

The "Chateaubriand katsu sando (cutlet sandwich)" is said to be outstanding. The crispy bread and juicy meat work together to make it even more delicious.
Reviews also say that the coating stays attached to the meat instead of separating, showing attention to detail in every part.
夜守
The lean cuts in particular have a strong aroma, with clean flavor that does not rely on the sweetness of the fat. The Strip loin and zabuton (a well-marbled shoulder cut) do more than just melt in your mouth, with the savory aroma of the seared surface giving the flavor its shape. I think the meal never feels too heavy overall because the sauce is used with restraint and the yakumi (condiments) are kept subtle in temperature and presence, creating a balance that does not overpower the aroma of the ingredients.

It was very delicious! The moment I took a bite, I thought, "Ah, this is really good." The staff also helped me with smiles and care, and I had a very pleasant time. The atmosphere of the restaurant was calm, and it was extremely comfortable. The food, the service, and the space were all perfect, and I could not find a single flaw.

Many reviews said the Sendai-gyu (Sendai beef) thick-cut tongue root was delicious. It is said to have a tenderness and springy texture that lets you bite through it easily, while the meat’s natural sweetness spreads across your mouth.
Squeezing the finger lime served on the side adds a fresh tang, making it a new kind of tasty experience.

The "Special Chateaubriand" has beautiful marbling that looks delicious even before you take a bite. The Chateaubriand, slowly cooked with residual heat, brings out the full flavor of Wagyu.
They recommend eating it with wasabi mixed into soy sauce, or with whole fresh peppercorns.

They are particular about their meat, and served a range of cuts prepared in different ways. The Nojima gyu (Nojima beef) from Kagoshima was especially delicious. I chose a unique course that lets you order one extra serving of any dish that appeared in the course, so I got another helping of the Outside skirt, which was my favorite.

In the grilled section, items like "Sendai gyutan moto (Beef Tongue root from Sendai)," "Special Chateaubriand," and "Kobe Ota Beef Outside skirt" are cooked to bring out the most in each cut. You can also enjoy a wide range of flavor changes with smoked soy sauce, finger lime, and yuzu kanzuri (yuzu chili paste). In addition, the sukiyaki with seasonal vegetables and Hitachi beef comes together with a gently sweet warishita (sukiyaki broth), creating a moment when your mouth fills with pure happiness.

Nishi-Azabu Yakiniku X is a Yakiniku restaurant with fully private rooms, where a chef and sommelier provide full service, and the food is served as a course meal, with the most popular option being the "SORA Course."
In a luxurious setting, you can enjoy Tajimagyu (Tajima beef) and Tajimaguro (premium Tajima Wagyu), both said to be among the highest grade Wagyu.
Photograph:えぬぐるめ
By the table in the Private room, there is a roaster and a Teppan-yaki grill, and the chef serves each dish cooked to the best doneness.
The “Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black Wagyu) Beef Tongue shabu-shabu” in the photo also comes with full attended service. The shabu-shabu uses a beef bone and bonito dashi broth, with an elegant and comforting taste.

The tare-grilled Tajimaguro (Tajima Gen beef) comes in cuts such as Tenderloin, short rib, and Strip loin, and people say each cut is grilled to bring out its best, making it richly aromatic and excellent.
Tajimaguro beef is said to have fat with a low melting point, about the same as tuna, which is why it is called "tajimaguro."

The moment you step into the fully private room with its solid, elegant feel, your heart starts to lift in the calm and refined setting… A dedicated grill chef takes care of everything for you, and together with the atmosphere, it feels like VIP treatment. The cooking, the melting point of the fat, the aroma of each cut, and the finish. The wines stayed in step with the character of each meat, sometimes bringing it out and sometimes keeping it in check. The red wine paired with the Tenderloin and Strip loin in particular created a moment when the meat and wine became not “separate,” but one single work.

Nikugato Roppongi Hills Ten is a Yakiniku restaurant that pursues the delicious flavor of lean Wagyu beef, and it is the only restaurant in the fully members only Nikugato group that is open to the general public.
They serve carefully prepared Special Wagyu, including Ozaki-gyu (Ozaki beef), produced by Muneharu Ozaki, a cattle farmer in Miyazaki Prefecture.
The lean meat of Ozaki-gyu (Ozaki beef) enjoyed with salt is said to be absolutely excellent. The simple salt brings out the meat’s flavor, letting you fully enjoy its natural umami and aroma.
The Premium lean loin, grilled as a single slice and enjoyed with tare sauce, is also said to be one of the specialties.

I visited on this day for a course meal, and from start to finish I was blown away by how good the dishes and the meat were. I fully enjoyed the lean cuts of meat. This place is known for its lean cuts, and I got to enjoy lots of different parts. I tend to think lean meat can get a bit one-note with sauce flavors, but they had nice touches like mustard plus salad and sorbet as palate cleansers, so you could really feel the care they put into it. It was so goodー!!

The popular Hawaii born dish "kuzu reimen (arrowroot cold noodles)" is a Korean cold noodle dish known for its black noodles made from a blend of kuzuko (arrowroot powder) and buckwheat flour, along with an icy sherbet like cold soup.
The combo of the ice cold gyukotsu soup (beef bone broth) and firm springy noodles is said to be unbeatable, with a flavor that never gets old from first bite to last. Some say it is the perfect way to finish a Yakiniku meal.

・Cold noodles
The icy, slushy soup is unique and has a kind of good flavor you won’t find anywhere else! It was a taste I had never had before. The rich cold soup coats the thin noodles really well, so I never got tired of it to the last bite. I wonder where this depth comes from. It felt a bit like beef bone, but without any overly strong distinctive flavor, leaving only pure umami, and it was honestly so delicious.

The "thick cut Wagyu Tenderloin steak" is nicely seared on the outside, while the cut surface shows a beautiful rosy pink color.
The sauce is a simple soy sauce based one blended with meat jelly. It does not get in the way of the meat’s flavor and instead brings out its umami.

The "Special Wagyu Beef Tongue" is an assortment of tongue base and mid-tongue. You enjoy it with the "Awa Lemon," made with lemons from Hiroshima Prefecture.
The tongue base is plump and thick, with a tender texture and rich fat that make it delicious. It pairs perfectly with the lemon sauce, and they say you could keep eating it endlessly.
I'll Matic TK
The lean cuts had a full, rich taste without any heavy fattiness, and the more I chewed, the more the umami slowly spread. One particular cut was prepared by just lightly searing it, and I thought the cooking was spot on. I could also tell they put a lot of care into how they used the sauces and yakumi (condiments).

The meat is so Surprising tender! It is aged for 3 weeks in a snow storehouse in Niigata during winter. The enzymes become active and break down the fibers, which makes it tender. This time, we had the Omakase course, which lets you try different cuts little by little. The staff explained how to cook each cut and grilled them to the best doneness, so it was fun and I also learned more about the meat.
Source:my.d.763's review
The quality of the meat is high, and the thick cut tongue in particular is carefully grilled by the staff, with some even saying it was the best they had ever had. The restaurant also does a great job of serving different cuts in different styles, such as yaki-shabu (lightly grilled thin sliced meat) and meat sushi. The atmosphere and service are excellent.

Yakiniku Hakutan, a 2-minute walk from Tokyo Metro Roppongi Station, is a Yakiniku restaurant with a stylish white-based interior, and all seats are sofa seating.
They source high-quality meat centered on A5 kuroge wagyu (Japanese Black Wagyu), with Special selection from the Shibaura meat wholesale market. You grill the meat on a shichirin (small charcoal grill) over binchotan (high-grade charcoal) and enjoy it that way.

The "Premium Kalbi" uses Spencer roll from A5 rank Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black beef), and it is popular for its finely marbled meat that is so tender and tasty you can almost eat it without chewing.
By grilling the thick cut meat over the high heat of a shichirin (charcoal brazier), you can enjoy its savory flavor and juicy richness.

The "komutan soup (Korean style soup)" is a Korean style soup packed with flavor, made by simmering shank and tail for a long time.
The tender tail meat and nicely salted soup are said to be delicious. The green onions and sesame also add a nice accent. One serving can be shared by 2 to 3 people.

The interior is an elegant space with a white color scheme, and all seats are sofa seating with Private room options as well, giving the place a calm atmosphere. The A5-grade kurogé wagyu (Japanese Black Wagyu) grilled over binchotan (high-grade Japanese charcoal) is nicely charred on the outside and juicy inside, and the Jo-Harami (premium Outside skirt) and Jo-Tan Shio (premium salted beef tongue) in particular were excellent. The yukhoe and komutan soup are also recommended, and both let you really taste the rich flavor of the meat.

It looks elegant from the outside. I’ve been there many times, and even though the space and finishes are all white, it’s impressive that there are no noticeable stains. It goes without saying that the meat is great, but I also really like the seating layout because I can relax without worrying about the people next to me. I definitely want to come back again.

Daitokuju TOKYO Roppongi Keyakizaka is a Yakiniku restaurant along Roppongi Keyakizaka Street where you can also enjoy the night view. With a 50-year history since its founding, it serves top grade Yakiniku such as Kobe beef and Miyazaki beef.
The popular "Bo Harami (Outside skirt)" is known for its fine marbling and deep flavor. They also have a wide selection of wine.
Photograph:肉男優
The signature “Bo Harami” is a dish where a large block of Outside skirt is boldly grilled, cut with scissors, then grilled again before you enjoy it.
It is said to have the unique texture of Outside skirt without any heavy fattiness, with lots of flavor packed in. There were also reviews calling it a must-order item.

The limited-quantity "bone-in short rib" is said to be a flavorful dish marinated for 3 days in a house-made sauce.
Because it comes in a large cut, you grill it first and then cut it with scissors. It is said to taste great when wrapped hot in Korean Perilla Leaves.
Both the service and the meat were perfect. We asked for a Private room, and it was nice and calm. The meat was also refined, and I felt the quality was high. I was already full from the meat, but the naengmyeon (cold noodles) was incredibly good. I would love to visit again.

・Miyazaki-gyu (Miyazaki beef) miracle Tenderloin
The fine texture of the lean meat and the softness that comes apart along your tongue truly live up to the name “miracle.” Rather than chewing it, it feels like it melts when you press it with your tongue, filling your mouth in an instant. The marbling does not feel heavy, and the finish is surprisingly light.

Each cut has a rich, savory flavor, and it is said to be a great plate to start with when you are not sure what to order.

For A la carte, tongue is popular. In particular, the thick cut tongue is said to be very good.
The tongue menu offers a wide variety of options, including "Wagyu premium shin-tan (center cut tongue)," "Wagyu thick cut tongue," "jo-tan shio (premium salted tongue)," and "Wagyu nakaochi tan shita karubi (rib from below the tongue)," among others.

This time, we had an assortment of rare cuts, and every piece of meat had such beautiful marbling it looked like a work of art. The quality was so clear you could tell it would be absolutely delicious even before grilling. Just a light sear melted the fat and let the rich flavor gently spread, pure bliss… The lean cuts were moist and tender, with a perfect balance against the sweetness of the fat.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. We used a Private room, and were able to enjoy a relaxed meal and conversation. I would like to use it again for business dinners and similar occasions. The meat and other items were fresh and very good. The meat sushi was also tasty.

Kitashinchi Yakiniku Satsuma Roppongi Ten is the Roppongi branch of Satsuma, a well-known Yakiniku restaurant in Kitashinchi, Osaka. It is said to recreate the same flavors that have been loved in Osaka for more than 40 years since it first opened there.

An assortment of kalbi, roast, and upper Mountain chain tripe. With the idea of wanting people to drop by casually every day like a set meal place, all the meat is reasonably priced.
The sauce for the Yakiniku does not use garlic, and it is said to have a clean finish and a taste you never get tired of.

Among places open until morning, this one was really good! I didn’t know it was Satsuma, one of the famous spots in Kitashinchi (lol), but I thought it was a really solid Yakiniku restaurant! Both the marinade sauce and dipping sauce were tasty, and of course the quality of the meat was good too, so I really enjoyed it!

I had no idea a place like this had opened in Roppongi... It seems the original shop was in Kitashinchi, Osaka. The meat was fresh and delicious! On top of that, the value for money is hard to believe for Roppongi! It’s not a high-end restaurant, so it was a great spot for a quick Yakiniku meal with friends!

Its big size hanging over the grill is quite a sight. It is a popular limited-quantity menu item, so making a reservation will give you peace of mind.

To start with my thoughts, I was very Manzoku. I had reserved the course for about JPY4000, and I liked that I could try many kinds of meat and cuts and that they grilled everything for us. (Though I guess that depends on your preference.) It was great that white rice was included in the course, and the spicy takana (pickled mustard greens) in the Appetizers was incredibly good. It goes great with both drinks and rice.

As for the meat, visually striking and hearty menu items like the famous "Hamideru Karubi (overhanging short rib)" are popular, and the taste was very Manzoku!

Yakiniku Koko Kara is proud of its "Legendary assortment," a hugely impressive signature platter, along with its original style of thick cut Yakiniku.
