名探偵バスロマン

First of all, the interior is very stylish, with a spacious feel like an open kitchen. The lighting is dim, and the atmosphere is excellent. We sat at the counter, and it felt really nice. Someone like the head chef explained the different dishes and recommended various seasonal items.

宗一郎【大阪グルメ・関西グルメ】

I had preordered the kegani (horsehair crab). This kegani from the Okhotsk region of Hokkaido was packed tightly with meat, and it was sweet and delicious‼︎The crab tomalley was incredibly rich. They seared the katsuo (bonito) over straw right in the restaurant, so the live cooking adds to the fun‼︎The katsuo was cut into thick slices, making it satisfying to eat and very tasty.

リブ1003

First, the quality of the otoshi (small appetizer) is surprisingly high. The sashimi assortment is outstandingly fresh across the board, and really lets you feel the bounty of Hokkaido. The specialty, “toro-taku without shari (sushi rice),” is a must-try dish with rich flavor and texture that come through directly because it has no shari. From live ika (squid) when available and kani-shabu (crab hot pot) to the To finish Clay Pot rice, everything is deeply satisfying.

The wide variety of yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), carefully grilled by the owner who trained at a noted restaurant, is very popular. Another draw is the carefully made tare (savory dipping sauce), which they keep adding chicken flavor to over time.

Because they buy whole chickens, they also offer many skewers made with rare cuts. They also have a wide selection of Japanese sake that pairs well with the rich flavor of the chicken.

In addition to yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), they also offer a full lineup of carefully made chicken dishes. The photo shows the “Smoked Potato Salad” made with house made chicken bacon.

The potato salad is nicely smoked, and the whole grain mustard adds a great accent, with some saying it is so addictive they order it every time.

Every yakitori (grilled chicken skewer) was amazingly good‼️The liver was tender and large, and the sauce paired perfectly with Japanese sake, making it outstanding! They also had a great selection of Japanese sake, which was a big plus. The atmosphere inside was nice, and the owner was friendly, so it was a really great restaurant!

I especially loved the toriwasa (lightly seared chicken with wasabi), it was so great that I ordered another serving. The restaurant had a lively, classic izakaya atmosphere, and the service was pleasant, so I had a very comfortable time!

The standard favorite, the homemade shime-saba (cured mackerel) sandwich, is said to be surprisingly good with drinks.

This standout dish pairs mackerel, which has a healthy image, with homemade wasabi mayonnaise for an excellent Japanese-Western combination.

rakubou

Once inside, the place was surprisingly spacious, and I enjoyed my meal at the counter while watching the cooking process at a relaxed pace. The saba sando (mackerel sandwich) is a house specialty for good reason, with a great balance between the bread and shimesaba (vinegared mackerel), and it was delicious! The boiled dumplings were also quite authentic, and the chewy wrappers were very tasty. There were also many creative dishes, and the atmosphere was calm rather than noisy, which was nice.

Tongue Japan

What I especially recommend is their wide selection of Japanese sake, with fine labels from the local area and all around Japan. They also take pride in dishes made with seasonal ingredients such as sansai (mountain vegetables) and sashimi (raw fish slices). The sansai is a dish that lets you fully enjoy the flavors of the season, and you can really appreciate the appeal of local ingredients. The sashimi is fresh and beautifully presented, and when you take a bite, a light sweetness and rich flavor spread across your palate.

You can order the fish skewers from just 1 skewer, and they are an easy-to-eat size, which is great for solo drinking. I had the salmon salt, octopus green onion salt, yellowtail sansho pepper, and cured mackerel with grated daikon and ponzu sauce, and each was seasoned just right to let the fish's flavor shine. The gari (pickled ginger), with a generous assortment and a direct kick of ginger heat, and the hon-maguro (Pacific bluefin tuna) skin with ponzu sauce, a rare delicacy, were also great dishes that went well with alcohol.

みっふぃ◎

The restaurant had a calm atmosphere that made it feel like a nice place to enjoy drinks quietly. The counter seats were a bit narrow, but there were lots of local sake lined up right in front of us, which looked stylish. More than the sashimi, the skewers were by far better! In particular, the grilled buri (yellowtail) with salt and grilled octopus with salt were so good they practically melted in my mouth... Maybe it was the season and they were rich with fat, but they were amazing✨

Everything was so good! I could have kept drinking the first appetizer’s dashi broth with shinjo (fish paste dumpling) in it forever. And after all, this is Hokkaido (northern Japan), so every ingredient tastes great, which makes even the simply prepared dishes really delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant and the vibe of the other customers were both so nice, and I found a lovely place that I’d want to visit all the time if it were nearby.

いっちーぐるめ

Inside, the space has a lively feel, and you can watch the big flames of wara-yaki (straw-fire grilling) rise up from the counter seats. It has a fun, energetic atmosphere that is perfect for a drink after work. To start, when it comes to Hokkaido, you have to go with the "nama-gaki (fresh oysters)" and the "sashimi assortment". The oysters are creamy and rich. And the sashimi goes without saying, the freshness is outstanding.

ライキール

They have quite a wide variety of warayaki (straw-seared) sashimi! I had katsuo (bonito) warayaki again for the first time in a while, and it had a smoky aroma almost like smoked food. It was really delicious with salt! The shime-saba (cured mackerel) is also great! I think you really can’t go wrong with any of the sashimi here. They also serve drinks quickly, so I think it’s a good spot for drinking parties.

This restaurant was charming for its gentle, home-style flavors. The nimono (simmered dishes) and miso soup were carefully prepared and gave me a nostalgic feeling. The staff were also friendly and easy to talk to, which made the place feel approachable. You may have to wait a little when it gets busy, but the turnover is quick so it is not much of an issue. 鈴木の孤独なグルメ

A restaurant with great seafood. The crab and sashimi (raw sliced fish) are both incredibly good. It has the quiet feel of a traditional Japanese house, and it is very comfortable too. The drink selection is extensive, and I ended up feeling great. I used it for a business dinner, and I was glad the other party really enjoyed it too. I ordered a 3-item assortment of basashi (raw horse meat), lightly seared lamb, Beef Tongue sashimi, and Chinchiro octopus sausage✨✨It was my first time trying the futaego and tategami cuts of basashi in particular. 食べ道楽の食いどうらく

This is an izakaya (Japanese pub) in the downtown area of Sapporo. It is in a very convenient location, with a station, bus stop, and parking lot nearby. This time, I ordered an assorted sashimi platter and beer, and the sashimi was thick cut and nicely springy. They also had a wide selection of drinks besides beer, which was great. This is one of my recommendations.

I had been curious about this place for a while, and this was my first visit. I regret not coming sooner! I ordered the course menu. I told them my budget and what I wanted to eat, and it was beyond Manzoku, full marks! The atmosphere felt homey and relaxing. I heard the maguro (tuna) was caught by the chef himself, and the wara-yaki (straw-seared preparation) was very good.

The asparagus tempura was really the best. The way it was fried, and when you dipped it in salt and ate it, it was light, crisp, juicy, and sweet. It was amazing! The Inca no Mezame (a variety of potato) fries were sweet too, and they went perfectly with butter. The hokke (Atka mackerel) was also delicious. It really made the Japanese sake go down easy.
