Shiichiichi Hanare is a quiet, cozy creative Japanese izakaya (Japanese-style pub). Their shabu-shabu made with Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black Wagyu) is especially popular.
They also offer food specials that are updated regularly, so be sure to check the blackboard inside the restaurant.

Shabu-shabu (Japanese Hot Pot in which ingredients are briefly swished through hot broth before eating) is a Japanese Hot Pot dish.
At this restaurant, the shabu-shabu uses a broth slowly simmered with beef tail and vegetables, and you dip A4 and A5 kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black Wagyu) into it and eat it with Awaji tamanegi (Awaji onion).

You can enjoy Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black beef) dishes and seasonal small plates along with whisky such as "Yamazaki" and "Hakushu." A night of pairing them with red and white wine sounds great too.
They also offer a lineup of Special Japanese sake from around Japan, and it seems to go down so easily with the shabu-shabu. Going with the course and adding All you can drink is recommended too.
ZATO麻布十番
This is a top shabu-shabu course with the rich flavor of the dashi (soup stock) standing out. From the first bite to the last, every dish is carefully prepared, showing both the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the chefs. The aroma and depth of the dashi are especially outstanding, bringing out the flavors of the meat and vegetables even more. The calm atmosphere inside the restaurant makes it a great place to enjoy a relaxed meal.

About a 5-minute walk from Ebisu Station, this place is easy to get to, and the All you can drink shabu-shabu course is the best deal for the price. Everything was really delicious. The restaurant was also clean. The drinks from the All you can drink plan came quickly, and the timing for each course dish was excellent too. Choosing this restaurant was the right call!

The food is creative Japanese cuisine with touches of Chinese cooking. Carefully arranged plating and thoughtfully chosen tableware make each dish look beautiful on the table.
The "Hoshi Kaibashira (dried scallops) and Jinhua ham karasumi (dried mullet roe) soba" is recommended for its firm noodles and the nice flavor of the toppings.

One of the signature menu items is the “Sengyo no Gari Ooba Maki,” a rice-free nori roll wrapped with seasonal fish, shiso (perilla leaf), and other ingredients.
At this restaurant, the staff can recommend alcoholic drinks to match the food, so you can enjoy a more grown-up dining experience.
The dishes were very tasty, with some really fresh combinations. The staff were very friendly and kind. The atmosphere was also very relaxing. We had makizushi (rolled sushi) without rice, and it was excellent. The soba was also very good, and the tomato stew was excellent too!

The famous truffle egg over rice.↑I came for this one, but everything I ordered was so good that I was blown away... I really recommend the instantly smoked kinmedai (golden eye snapper) and mentaiko (spicy cod roe)! If you order Japanese sake, you can choose your favorite ochoko (small sake cup)! So cute! It was so good that I want to go again...

I enjoyed the luxurious Japanese course meal, and “supreme” is exactly the right word for it. Every single plate was packed with the skill and care of a craftsman, and each dish looked beautiful and tasted perfect. The most impressive of all was the donburi (rice bowl) made generously with sea urchin and truffle. The moment it was brought to the table, the rich aroma of truffle gently spread through the air and awakened the senses.

This is NaNaki Honten, a Japanese izakaya serving Togakushi soba (buckwheat noodles from Togakushi) and grilled chicken that has been loved since it first opened.

Visited for dinner. Rather than yakitori, this place serves chicken in a style where you grill it on a net right in front of you, like Yakiniku. The seseri (neck meat) was very tender, juicy, and delicious. Overall, the food quality was high, and since it was chicken, it also felt healthy, so the meal was very satisfying.

The draft beer (Suntory draft) even had great foam. The basics they recommend are chicken and Shinshu soba. As for the chicken, you grill it yourself over a shichirin (small charcoal grill) right in front of you as you eat. You can also compare different branded chickens such as Awaodori (a branded chicken from Tokushima), making this a place that chicken lovers will rave about. The other highlight is the soba. Slightly thick and pleasantly chewy, the soba works well whether you are drinking or having it as the final dish.

Oden (a Japanese dish of ingredients simmered in dashi broth) is known for varying in flavor and ingredients depending on the region.
At this restaurant, you can choose ingredients such as Sendai-fu (deep-fried wheat gluten) and a hearty Beef Tongue skewer for the oden. They also use beef tail in the broth.

The signature "Sendai Atsugiri Beef Tongue" is said to be grilled up tender and juicy.
As a snack to go with drinks, the "Hakata kawakushi (Hakata-style chicken skin skewer)," a skewer dish made by wrapping chicken skin tightly around the skewer, is also recommended. Enjoy it with local sake served in easy-to-finish portions.

Beef Tongue and oden (Japanese hot pot dishes simmered in broth) at Kuroya made for a relaxed dining experience in a calm atmosphere. The signature Beef Tongue was thick cut and tender, with rich flavor that spread with every bite and tasted excellent. The small pieces of skin were packed with flavor, and the balance of the fragrant char and the springy texture was just right. I ordered 5, but honestly 10 would have been fine lol. Tori Ichidai Ebisu, just a 1-minute walk from JR Ebisu Station, is an izakaya popular for its chicken dishes and fish dishes.
Because it is a popular spot, it is a good idea to make a reservation if your plans are set.
The signature dish is "samgyetang (Korean ginseng chicken soup)." Samgyetang is a Korean soup dish made by stuffing a whole chicken with glutinous rice, Korean ginseng, and other ingredients, then simmering it.
The restaurant's samgyetang is slowly simmered for 10 hours, making it so tender that even the bones can be eaten.
The owner is particular about using wild caught seafood, and the fresh fish sourced from Toyosu (Toyosu Market) is also recommended.
Along with fish dishes, you can enjoy items that make you want to take a big sip of draft beer, such as yakitori made with Shingendori (brand chicken).
yumulog
Each skewer of yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) was carefully grilled, and the quality was outstanding and juicy. Their specialty samgyetang is a mizutaki-nabe (chicken hot pot) made by simmering a young chicken for 10 hours. It was so tender it fell apart with chopsticks, and it was full of the rich broth. You could also add vegetables or ramen, so there were lots of ways to enjoy it. They also had a wide lineup of Japanese sake and shochu, and both paired perfectly with the food.

Even the small dishes that work well as bar snacks, such as the quick menu items, have the restaurant’s own special twist, which is another nice point that keeps things from getting boring.
Everything was high quality, but the lightly seared Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black beef) sukiyaki and the uni (sea urchin) meat sushi were outstanding. They said with confidence when I made the reservation, "We’re confident in these!" so I had high expectations, and they were just as good as I expected! The atmosphere of the restaurant was also very Ebisu, with a calm interior based on black tones, which was nice. I think I’ll be coming back.

Many reviews mention the extensive alcohol menu, and it seems to be a place with high satisfaction even as an izakaya (Japanese pub).
They offer a wide range of drinks, including red and white (Each) wines and cocktails, and the "Kichiri Highball" is said to be slightly sweet and easy to drink.

The kani no korayaki (grilled crab shell) was delicious. It had a deep flavor, and there was a wide range of course meals, so I’d like to go again. The restroom was also very clean. They had a very wide selection of drinks, which was great because I could try different ones. The food was delicious. It was also a comfortable place to spend time.

They offer Japanese sake, shochu, and other kinds of alcohol (assorted varieties available), and the upgraded All you can drink plan is also recommended.
The food menu also includes dishes that pair well with drinks, such as basashi (horse sashimi) and sashimi. It looks like a great place to enjoy a fun evening talking with friends or someone special in a Private room.

If you are not sure what to order, the skewer assortment is a good choice. The vegetable wrapped skewers are especially recommended, with tomato, enoki mushrooms, lettuce, asparagus, and shishito peppers wrapped in pork. The vegetables still keep their texture, with the tomato bursting with juices and the lettuce staying crisp. They also offer ingredients from different regions, such as horse meat and Ise ebi (spiny lobster), so you can enjoy a wide range of dishes.

Along with the convenience of being close to the station, Kushigoro offers fully private rooms where you can spend a quiet time, making it a spot that feels like a hideaway for adults. The food centers on kushiyaki (grilled skewers), with seasonal Japanese dishes, and each one shows careful preparation. The Private rooms are neither too big nor too small, with just the right sense of space. There is also a wide selection of drinks, including a lineup that will please shochu and Japanese sake fans.

The popular dish here is motsu-yaki (grilled offal skewers), made with Special exceptionally fresh motsu (offal) selected by the head chef, skewered in-house, coated in sauce, and carefully grilled while watching the charcoal temperature.
You may find yourself tempted by the rare cuts, such as the crunchy "[Aka Motsu] tongue" and the "[Shiro Motsu] shiro" said to spread a nice sweetness of fat.

The tabletop beer server made it great to enjoy a drink whenever I wanted. The yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) was also tasty, and I liked that they had many different kinds of snacks and small plates.

I went in with the faucet highball All you can drink plan. The All you can drink option is very cheap, and extensions are also low priced, so it feels like a really good deal. I extended it by 1 hour. The food, from the main skewers to everything else, was all very good, and I was satisfied with it. The restaurant seems very popular, so even on weekdays a reservation is essential.

They offer filling meat dishes made with high quality branded beef such as Saga-gyu (Saga beef).

The "yaki-gyoza (pan-fried dumplings) 5 pieces," made by wrapping filling in a wheat flour skin and grilling them, are a classic snack that goes perfectly with beer.
There is a plan with All you can drink from more than 50 options, including draft beer and sparkling wine.
The restaurant has a lively atmosphere, which makes it great for a casual meal. We ordered the motsu-nabe (offal Hot Pot) course, and the number of dishes was just right, leaving us full and Manzoku. The champon noodles at the end were especially excellent. The motsu also tasted great, and the soup had a deep flavor that made us want to come back again. After the meal, we had a fun time with friends and felt very Manzoku.

Domestic chicken fried wings are the house specialty. The wings are fried at 180 degrees, giving them crispy skin and juicy meat.
Along with the classic sauce flavor made with a continuously added tare sauce and spices, there are many other variations, including shiawase no kona (happy powder) flavor with sweetness, saltiness, and umami, and the light ume-katsuo (plum and bonito) flavor.

Draft beer is also often ordered because it goes well with dishes like chicken wings and toro reba (rich liver).
They have a wide range of drinks, including mega-jug sours. They also offer house-made jar-infused liqueurs with fruit and herbs.

・Legendary Tebasaki (chicken wings) Sauce and Salt
The large tebasaki (chicken wings) are carefully chosen from Special Domestic chicken. More than anything, they are packed with concentrated chicken flavor. The sauce has an addictive taste thanks to the combo effect with the spices. The salt lets you enjoy the chicken’s flavor straight on in a light, clean way.

Even though it was a weekday, the place stayed full the whole time, with customers coming in one after another! I had been to their other restaurants before, but this was my first time at the Ebisu restaurant. It was also my first time trying the tebasaki (chicken wings) in consommé punch flavor and the flavor called Shiawase no Kona (Happy Powder), and they were so good! They had an addictive taste and went great with drinks!!
