On this day, it was raining intermittently due to the typhoon that had just approached, so I decided not to go out to Kaneku before the restaurants were gathered and instead had a light dinner at ``Gaku Gaku,'' which is attached to the ``Nakadoma Inn'' where I was staying. I decided to take it. I thought it was pronounced "gaku gaku," but it turned out to be "wan kara wan kara." According to the Okinawa Interesting Dialect Dictionary (published by Nanfusha), which I have on hand, the meaning of the word is: 2) The way alcohol, etc., drips down the throat. That's a nice name. In addition, Nakadoma Inn guests will receive a 10% discount on food and drinks. By the way, the hotel is very quirky and you can enjoy each room quite a bit. Unfortunately, there were no customers due to the bad weather. The inside of the store is quite large, and when you walk past the counter seats to the back, you'll see a projector projecting images of sea turtles on the wall in front of you. There was a Manza 40 degree, so I got 1 cup of it (¥1200 extra). I ordered [b: succulent tofu] (¥350 extra), [b: sea grapes] (¥650 extra), and [b: jammy tofu] (¥450 extra), and I always ended up ordering something like this. Drink while thinking. All the knobs were surprisingly sturdy. The homemade jammy tofu was delicious and had the melty texture I liked. There are various kinds of awamori, and I thought this might be a good idea, but since it was a little late and the weather was like this, I thought it would be a nuisance if I stayed too long, so I cut it off after about an hour. More on that another time. Since it is a little far from the center of Onna Village, there is a pick-up service provided by cheerful staff.
