I visited in search of oysters. You can enjoy a good value tasting comparison of two kinds: Akkeshi-produced maruemon oysters and seasonal oysters. It is irresistible for raw oyster lovers〜The oden (Japanese stew) is tasty too.

We started with the otoshi (small appetizer), a clam chowder, then had sashimi of ma-tsubugai (whelk) and hokkigai (surf clam), well-seasoned oden daikon radish, and a cream gratin with assorted shellfish. With such very fresh shellfish dishes, Chablis white wine is a great match.

・Sea urchin and matsubu (whelk) garlic toast
The baguette is cut into bite-size pieces, which makes it easy to coat with the garlic sauce made with fresh sea urchin ^_^ It tastes great with plenty of it on top〜lol I heard this place specializes in sea urchin, and unlike simple garlic toast, this is a proper standalone dish!

As seafood lovers, we were so happy from lunchtime! The vongole came with extra extra Manila clams, and we were totally Manzoku. The Bolognese, covered in a flurry of pure white cheese, was exactly the kind of flavor I love! The set salad, bread, soup, coffee, and soft serve were all good too, and it was a lunch that kept us smiling to the very end. We also had oyster ajillo and Manila clam ajillo.

We had a variety of dishes, but the asari (Japanese littleneck clam) vongole pasta was the best of all. I was just in the mood for a pasta dish, so this restaurant was exactly the right choice. It was also good value for money.
