I fully enjoyed the Sicilian cuisine! You can enjoy authentic Sicilian food in Kyoto. The Appetizers came in easy-to-eat portions and offered a wide variety. The flavors brought back memories of Italy. I also liked the menu lineup and ingredients, and everything was tasty.

I had a hard time choosing because the pasta lineup was full of Sicilian dishes that you do not see every day, but both the sea urchin spaghetti and the lemon-flavored spaghetti were oil-based. They were unbelievably delicious〜I was so impressed to try sea urchin pasta for the first time without a cream sauce. The stronger saltiness also felt very Italian.

Depending on the pasta you choose, you can add extra toppings along with the type of noodles and sauce, so the menu is quite extensive. I was torn with A la carte pasta, but I added the Holiday Lunch Set (mini Hokkori Soup + dish salad + ishiyaki shio mochi mochi grissini (stone-baked salty chewy grissini) + soft drink + seasonal glass dessert) to the pasta.

For the pasta, I chose homemade noodles with Fiorella Sausage ragu rigatoni, and for dessert, panna cotta with seasonal apples and yogurt, plus cinnamon crumble. The pasta was really delicious! The salt-cured roast pork on the salad and the seared grilled chicken breast were also very good.

The bagna cauda came with all different vegetables, and the sauce was delicious. The pasta was made with oysters and kintoki ninjin (Japanese Kintoki carrot). The oysters were plump, and they went really well with the sweetness of the kintoki ninjin. We also had grilled tuna and pork. Manpuku, Manzoku!
