The "Authentic Oden Full Enjoyment Course," limited to the counter and available for just 3 groups per day, is popular for its stop-order style All you can eat oden course.
Depending on the ingredients, they use either shio-koji dashi (salted rice malt broth) or rich kuro-koji dashi (black koji broth), with around 20 kinds available at all times. It is simmered well, letting you fully enjoy the natural flavor of each ingredient.

They also offer a full lineup of small dishes that are perfect as a palate cleanser.
The popular Oden-ya no Potato Salad, made with potatoes and eggs from oden (Japanese stew), is prepared only after you order. The richness and tang of the mayonnaise go well with the flavor of the dashi broth, giving it a mellow taste with plenty of umami.

I visited for the counter-only All you can eat and drink course. There are some rules, like ordering 3 items at a time, but the food quality was high, and even the sashimi was fresh and delicious. The drinks were also All you can drink, and the quality was high, and they brought them out right away whenever I ordered, so I was really satisfied. It was a great meal.

The oden (Japanese hot pot dishes simmered in broth) here is made in the Kanto style with dark soy sauce, and one of its appeals is that you can enjoy it year-round.
The slowly simmered daikon radish and beef tendon are said to be very tasty, with the rich broth soaked all the way through. You can order them either A la carte or as an assortment.

The signature dote-katsu (cutlet with rich sweet-savory miso sauce) features freshly fried cutlets coated well in a deep, sweet-savory miso sauce, and it pairs perfectly with drinks.
There are two kinds, beef and pork, and many people enjoy comparing the two. It is said to be so good that once you try it, you will want it again and again.

I went with a friend who lives in Osaka, so we tried the recommended beni shoga kushi (pickled red ginger skewer) and niku-sui (light beef soup). The niku-sui was especially good, with just the right flavor that made me want to finish every last drop, and it went great with drinks. This is a great place when you want to stop in for a casual drink or go bar hopping!

They serve oden (Japanese hot pot dishes) one plate at a time, so you can enjoy it with Special seasonal local sake.
The oden lineup is wide, from classics to more unusual items. The "daikon radish" simmered for 3 days is said to be excellent, with the dashi flavor soaked all the way through.

Tomato is oden (Japanese hot pot dish) with a Western style that you can enjoy freshly made. Since they cook it after you order, it’s best to order early.
The whole tomato is simmered until the dashi (Japanese soup stock) soaks in well, giving it a soft, melty texture.

An oden (Japanese hot pot dish) restaurant right in the heart of Kitashinchi. There is also a Private room on the second floor, and the atmosphere is calm. Starting with the daikon radish, the proper dashi broth and the way each dish is served one by one are very nice. The prices are reasonable too, so it is a place you can visit for everyday dining. It was delicious.

I really like the broth in this restaurant's oden (Japanese stew), so I stop by from time to time. It was really crowded this season. Still, I got to enjoy the same delicious oden as always, and the a la carte dishes also had a nice seasonal feel and tasted great. As for drinks, it had to be the Japanese sake that is unique to this restaurant.

At Sake to Tsumami Chunma in Higashidori, Umeda, Osaka, you can enjoy creative oden (Japanese one pot dish).
The stylish interior feels like a chic cafe. It has a casual vibe, and one of its best points is how easy it is to drop in on a whim.
The popular menu item "Kamo Dashi Oden" is a dish of various ingredients simmered in a golden broth packed with the flavor of kamo (duck) and seafood.
The broth soaks all the way into the center of each ingredient, and the rich flavor spreads through your mouth the moment you take a bite. Among them, the "roll cabbage" is said to be especially good, with the meat flavor matching the broth perfectly.
Photograph:しふぉん0426
Not only are they particular about their oden (Japanese stew), but they also offer a full lineup of small plates that pair perfectly with drinks.
The "Ebi Mayo" wrapped in crispy kadaifu (shredded filo dough) is a dish that looks appetizing at first glance. The special mayonnaise sauce brings out the great flavor of the shrimp, and the portion is very filling.

A restaurant centered on oden made with kamo dashi (duck broth)! Every item in the oden had a gentle flavor and tasted great. The daikon radish was cut super thick and had an amazing presence! The boiled chicken was moist and went really well with the green onion sauce, and the shrimp with mayo came recommended by the manager, with a nicely crisp coating that made it really satisfying to eat!

The signature duck broth oden was tasty no matter which ingredients I chose, and the daikon radish and atsuage (deep-fried tofu) in particular were excellent, with the rich flavor of the broth soaked in all the way through. They also offer unusual oden items like sui-gyoza (boiled dumplings) and shumai, so it never gets boring through to the last bite.

Shuko Tetsu is located in Nipponbashi, Chuo-ku, Osaka, about a 5-minute walk from Nipponbashi Station.

The oden (Japanese simmered hotpot items) soaked in rich yet gentle dashi broth comes in a wide lineup, from the classic daikon radish to more unusual options.
The popular menu item "bacon and cream cheese" is said to pair Japanese style oden broth perfectly with cheese, making it so tasty you'll want more.

Like the oden, the specialty dote-yaki (miso-simmered beef tendon) is also one of the must-order popular menu items.
The slowly simmered beef tendon is said to be cooked until meltingly tender and piled on so generously it looks ready to spill out of the bowl. The sharp bite of green onion and its crisp texture add a nice accent.

The timing of the service felt just right for the pace of the meal. Every dish was high quality, which made the drinks taste even better. The oden (Japanese hot pot dishes) had a deep, refined, and gentle flavor, and the rice porridge we had To finish was also delicious.

At Oden Sumiyoshi, you can enjoy high quality dashi broth and creative oden dishes that carry on the flavors of the famous Takokichi.

Here, you can fully enjoy oden in a course-style meal along with seasonal à la carte dishes.
Their secret daikon radish, simmered separately in its own pot, uses fresh cream in the dashi and has a rich, deep flavor. It also pairs well with pork belly and is said to be so good that you will want another serving.

The "kuruma-fu (wheat gluten rings), konnyaku (yam cake), and jaco (small dried fish) meatballs" are simmered in a light broth.
The broth-soaked "kuruma-fu" is said to burst with savory flavor the moment you take a bite. Another popular point is that the broth changes depending on the ingredients, so you can enjoy the change in flavor.

Kanto-ni Kikuya is a place in Osaka where you can enjoy Kanto-ni (Kanto-style oden).

The oden (Japanese one pot dish) simmered in a house-made dashi broth finished with chicken bones, light soy sauce, and salt comes in a lineup of more than 20 varieties.
The chikuwa (tube-shaped fish cake) releases more flavor the more you chew, and the konnyaku (firm yam cake) is said to soak up the broth well, with a pleasantly springy texture too.

The "tako (octopus)" is simmered only after you order, so it takes some time to be served, but it is a popular dish with many repeat customers.
The generously cut tako (octopus) is carefully cooked and finished tender. You can also change up the flavor with karashi (mustard), shichimi (seven-spice chili), or pepper.

Personally, the daikon radish, shungiku (garland chrysanthemum), tako (octopus), and potatoes were the best. It was a one of a kind oden (Japanese stew with ingredients simmered in broth), with a clear broth that had a slight sweetness and was light yet full of deep umami. I could have kept drinking it forever, and it even made a great snack to go with alcohol. That was the charm of this oden.

The three kinds of obanzai (Kyoto-style small side dishes) were Nirukome's potato salad, fresh fish marinated in lemon ponzu sauce, and komatsuna (Japanese mustard spinach) and enoki mushrooms ohitashi (lightly simmered greens in dashi). It's nice to be able to try a variety of things little by little, and each one has a different taste to enjoy. The lemon ponzu marinade had a refreshing acidity that made it light and easy to eat.

The most popular item is the “ebi-manju (shrimp bun).” This dish features a shrimp bun covered generously with a sauce made from carefully prepared dashi (Japanese soup stock).

The dashi (Japanese soup stock) was delicious. It’s a popular place, so I think it’s better to make a reservation. Every dish with dashi was tasty. I ordered the course meal, and I think the value for money was not bad. I especially recommend oden (Japanese hot pot with ingredients simmered in broth) in winter.
