Uoya Chikara is an izakaya (Japanese pub) that is well known in reviews for the upbeat service from its staff.
The lively atmosphere feels comfortable and makes it easy to have a good time. There are seats at the open-kitchen counter, as well as a koagari (raised tatami seating area) zashiki (tatami room seating area).

The signature item is the “osashimi (sashimi) 6-kind assortment,” made with fresh fish delivered from Toyosu. Each slice is thick, so you can fully enjoy the texture and flavor of the fish.
Among the seafood dishes, the “aburi shime-saba (lightly seared cured mackerel),” finished with the surface lightly torched right in front of you, is also popular.

The Japanese sake menu features a lineup of local sake from Yamanashi Prefecture and Special famous labels selected from around Japan.
Yamanashi Prefecture is known as a production region for wine, but it is also actually a production region for high quality Japanese sake.
kermi950
The place was packed and full of energy. The staff were upbeat too, and the call they gave during the aburi (seared) was great! The sashimi was cut thick, and maybe because this is a landlocked prefecture? It was really good. The menu had illustrations, which made it very easy to understand and order from.

The grilled fish is also top quality, crisp on the outside and tender and flaky on the inside, with the aroma of charcoal and the fish’s natural sweetness. They also have a wide selection of Japanese sake, which pairs perfectly with a variety of dishes.

Sakaba Rappa is an izakaya (Japanese-style pub) that is said to be popular not only with tourists but also with locals. In addition to seasonal vegetables and fresh seafood delivered directly from Tsukiji Market, they also focus on jizake (local sake), and some reviews say reservations are recommended.
The space is said to be stylish, calm, and full of Japanese charm. They offer counter seats, table seating, and Sunken kotatsu seating.

This is the restaurant's recommended "Do-Shinsen!!!! Six-Type Osashimi (sashimi) Assortment." It is a plate where you can enjoy seasonal fresh fish from Toyosu Shijo (Toyosu Market) selected by a fishmonger. The assortment is said to stand out for its large, thick-cut slices of sashimi.
You can order it from two portions, and three-portion and four-portion options are also available.
Photograph:Niss
The many dishes that bring out the best of the ingredients also pair well with Japanese sake, which is known for its delicate aroma and flavor.
The Japanese sake lineup features local labels from Yamanashi along with brands from around Japan. They also have hidden bottles that are not on the menu, so if you ask a staff member who seems knowledgeable, you may get to enjoy something special.

The sashimi assortment was so good. I feel like I understand how the taste can change depending on who cuts it. The presentation was also very beautiful. The maguro (tuna) was so good it tasted almost like beef.

The sashimi assortment, kama-yaki (grilled fish collar), dashimaki tamago (rolled omelet with dashi), and French fries were all delicious. I thought it was very good value for the price. The Risshun Hatsushibori Japanese sake paired very well with the meal. The staff were also pleasant, and I’d like to stop by again when I visit Kofu.

Jingisukan Daruma-ya Kofu Honten is an izakaya where you can enjoy Jingisukan (Hokkaido-style grilled lamb), a local dish from Hokkaido.
Another appealing point is the style of placing a Hot Pot on the table and grilling the ingredients right in front of you, so you can enjoy it with all five senses.
Photograph:718d8013558
You can grill lamb and vegetables yourself on a special jingisukan (grilled mutton dish) Hot Pot with a raised center and enjoy them fresh off the grill.
They also serve Wine Lamb, raised in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi Prefecture, on feed made from wine pomace and grains. It is known for the sweetness of its fat, and it can sell out, so ordering early is recommended.
Photograph:Ray621
The drinks menu includes Japanese sake, wine, and (assorted varieties available) alcoholic beverages. Beer in particular stands out, and they say you can enjoy a carefully crafted glass with attention paid even to the glassware and how it is poured.
They also offer courses with All you can drink and a "90-minute All you can drink" option, and you can choose whether to include draft beer.
Ray621
Lamb overall has few off notes, and one of its charms is being able to enjoy the differences in texture and flavor from cut to cut. The loin was tender, while the shoulder and leg had a satisfying meaty texture, and even the organ meats had very few off notes and were easy to eat. For grilled vegetables, I ordered eringi (king oyster mushroom), and it paired perfectly with the lamb fat.

真夜根津
We ordered a highball and lamb shoulder, leg, and loin. Grilled vegetables come by default. The otoshi (small appetizer) was roughly chopped Chinese cabbage with nori (seaweed) and aonagi (green onion). It was simple, but the texture was interesting. The Australian lamb had no off notes at all, and it paired well with the highball. It warms you up from the inside. We really enjoyed it!

Seating is available from the 1st to the 4th floor, including counter seats and zashiki Private room (tatami seating), so you can use it for different occasions.

The menu also features yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) and oden (Japanese stew).
The yakitori is grilled over bincho-tan (high-grade white charcoal), giving it a rich, concentrated flavor. The oden is slowly simmered in dashi (Japanese soup stock), bringing out the gentle natural flavors of the ingredients.
Photograph:lili77
One of the draws is that you can drink Koshu wine made with Koshu grapes from Yamanashi Prefecture. You can choose a glass or a decanter, and enjoy pairing it with meals such as meat and fish dishes.
They also offer a good selection of drinks other than wine.
ちぇむ1225
This time I sat at the counter. One of the best parts of counter seating is getting to watch the staff move around and cook☺️All of the dishes were tasty, but I was especially impressed by how tender the oden daikon radish was you could really tell it had been simmered well〜! The other snacks were also nicely seasoned in a way that went great with drinks, and I enjoyed them all.

Near Kofu Station, the place we had planned to go to was full, and a local happened to recommend this restaurant, so we went in. We were shown to a table near the entrance and took our seats. We started with the Quick Drink set, and enjoyed everything from the oden (Japanese stew) to the fish dishes. The seasoning paired well with the drinks, which was nice.

・Kirinji's Rossini—beef fillet with foie gras and truffle sauce—
The fillet was cooked beautifully. It had a nice rare center, a tender texture, and was incredibly soft. The rich truffle sauce and foie gras pulled it all together perfectly. A dish that makes the wine keep flowing. The mashed potatoes underneath were a nice touch too♪

The surface of the yakitori is said to be crisp, while the inside is juicy and packed with flavor.

They always have more than 10 kinds of Japanese sake available each season. Another nice point is that you can casually enjoy it in stylish wine glasses.
To finish after enjoying the drinks, the recommended noodle dish is tori soba (chicken soba), which is popular for its rich chicken flavor.
komePanMen
All of the Japanese sake is served in wine glasses, so you can enjoy the ginjo aroma. We each ordered the yakitori items we liked, but personally, I especially liked the "negima" and "liver." The meat had a firm texture with no off notes, which made it seem very fresh. We also ordered a few otsumami (small plates) and had a great time drinking while sharing them. It became one of the places I’d like to visit again.

They offer a wide range of alcoholic drinks, from wines from Yamanashi to shochu (Japanese distilled spirit), so you can choose based on your taste.
They also have Korean drinks, and Marugoto Pine Chamisul and makgeolli (Korean traditional cloudy rice wine) are also recommended.

Located on the first basement floor of a building, Izakaya Torigin is an izakaya where you can enjoy chicken dishes. It offers a wide range of menu items made with local Yatsugatake Meisui Akadori (red chicken raised with Yatsugatake spring water) and Shingen-dori (Shingen chicken).
Inside, in addition to counter seating, the restaurant has Semi-private room-style seats divided by roll curtains and relaxing fully private rooms.

Their recommended dishes are tori-kawa yukke (Korean-style seasoned chicken skin) and charcoal-grilled items.
This is the "Yatsugatake Meisui Akadori Sumibiyaki (charcoal-grilled red chicken from Yatsugatake's famous waters)." You can enjoy chicken raised in Yamanashi Prefecture's rich natural surroundings and pure water with the fragrant flavor of charcoal grilling. They also offer charcoal-grilled young chicken, liver, and sunagimo (gizzard).
Photograph:わたわた^_^
At this restaurant, you can enjoy dishes that pair well with drinks, including chicken dishes, tempura, and light small plates.
To finish, the top recommendation is the "Toriginpu Chuka Soba." This noodle dish uses Shingen-dori (chicken) in the soy-based sauce and wine from Yamanashi Prefecture in the soup.
nagaya41
Looking at the menu, as expected there are many chicken dishes, along with cucumber, namul, and other small snacks, so I think you can keep drinking without getting bored. They use Shingen-dori (brand chicken), and the meat is tender, with no off notes, and very tasty. They also have a full range of drinks, so I think you can enjoy yourself.

A restaurant with great chicken dishes. The first menu item I had ever come across was Ume Suisho!! It is shark cartilage dressed with plum paste. The crunchy texture of the cartilage and the tartness of the plum are so tasty!!!! It is perfect as a snack with drinks lol. This is a chicken restaurant, but I could see myself coming back again and again just for this. I had the chicken tender cutlet, and the meat was tender! If I had not already been Manpuku, I would have liked to try various other dishes too-

You can eat kushikatsu (deep-fried skewers) at reasonable prices. Since it is close to the station, you need to arrange parking yourself.
