Horumon Sakaba 55 Keikyu Kamata Ten

Located an 11-minute walk from Kamata Station, Horumon Sakaba 55 Keikyu Kamata Ten is an izakaya where you can enjoy Horumon Yakiniku.

With exposed ducts, the interior has a stylish neo-izakaya feel. Table seating is the main setup, and it is said to be always lively with many customers.

This is the “A5 Miyazaki-gyu (Miyazaki beef) Karubi Negi Maki (beef short rib wrapped around green onion) (1 piece)” in a set of 10. It is a Special menu item with strong visual impact, made by wrapping green onion in top grade karubi (beef short rib) with beautiful marbling.

The moment you put it in your mouth, the rich flavor of the meat melts and blends perfectly with the fresh sharpness of the green onion, creating a luxurious taste.

"Lemon green onion salt tongue" with plenty of lemon really catches the eye.

They recommend grilling it together with the lemon. After grilling, add the green onion salt sauce, and the fresh tang and savory flavor will fill your mouth.

・55 Rebanira (stir-fried liver and garlic chives)
At the table, they stir-fry garlic chives in oil, add thick-cut liver marinated in miso sauce, and cook it through, then finish by topping it with 3 bright egg yolks. Because they use very fresh liver, this takes some effort, but this tableside presentation does a great job of showing how good it is.

The signature Horumon comes in a wide variety, and each one shows off its freshness. The balance of sweet fat and texture is great, and it is also fun how the character changes depending on how it is grilled. The seasoning, whether sauce or salt, is simple and made to go naturally with drinks. The classic à la carte dishes are solid too, making this a place where you can get full Manzoku from the snacks onward.

Yakiniku Reimen Tecchan

"Yakiniku Reimen Tecchan" is a Yakiniku restaurant built around the concept of "a classic neighborhood Yakiniku spot brought back to life for today."

The lively interior has table seating at every seat with its own ventilation duct, so whether you come alone or in a group, you can enjoy a meal with ease.

The Yakiniku made with a special house sauce is said to be excellent across the board.

The "Premium Loin" is made by rolling thinly sliced meat and grilling it as is. The high quality meat is melt-in-your-mouth tender, and it's said to be so good that once you try it, you'll be hooked.

The recommended "Akaniku assortment" is a well-balanced assortment of cuts that let you enjoy the great taste of lean meat.

Among them, the "Jokarubi" is said to have an excellent balance of rich meat flavor and the sweetness of the fat, making it go perfectly with white rice.

The food is very good, and I like this restaurant because the atmosphere makes it easy to visit on my own. I especially like the Beef Tongue here. I was too full to have the cold noodles this time, so I want to try them next time.

This is the kind of Yakiniku that is all about sauce!! There was a mixed red meat platter, a Horumon mix with a special punchy miso sauce, and a tasting comparison of Beef Tongue and pork tongue. Everything was delicious!! They also had grilled oyadori (mature chicken) thigh, which I personally love, so it was perfect. I was fully satisfied right through to the cold noodles at the end.

Yakiniku Hiroki

Founded in 1986, Yakiniku Hiroki is a spacious Yakiniku restaurant in a great location just steps from Kamata Station.

The seating can also be divided with roll screens, making it suitable for groups of all sizes. There are also Private rooms with TVs, which adds to the appeal of being able to relax and spend time comfortably.

You can fully enjoy Ishigaki-gyu (Ishigaki beef), known as a phantom beef, as Yakiniku.

The “Ishigaki-gyu 3-kind assortment” is a luxurious menu that lets you compare three cuts: loin, Premium short rib, and short rib. It has a great balance of lean meat and fat, and is said to be melt-in-your-mouth good.

The "thick-cut Special tongue" is surprisingly thick yet tender, and the more you chew, the more its rich flavor slowly spreads.

With the fragrant aroma that only charcoal grilling can bring and a perfect touch of salt, this dish goes great with alcohol. Squeezing the lemon served alongside adds a bit of acidity and makes it even better, according to reviews.

marsie1228

My favorite orders include the classic thick cut Beef Tongue, along with kimchi and simmered beef tendon. The tongue is thick and juicy, with a nice bite and lots of flavor, giving it a different kind of appeal from the thin sliced tongue served at other places.

もぐモリー

My top pick is still the thick-cut Beef Tongue. Even though it is seriously thick, it is easy to bite through and tender‼︎ The kimchi assortment is large enough for three people to share, so I think it is a great value. The meat itself is delicious, and they also have rare cuts, so I recommend it.

Taishu Horumon Nikurikiya Kamata Higashiguchi Ten

Taishu Horumon Nikuryokuya Kamata Higashiguchi Ten is a well-known Yakiniku restaurant serving casual Horumon dishes.

The casual interior is a comfortable space with careful attention to air conditioning and ventilation. There are counter and table seats, so you can relax and enjoy your time.

The "Meibutsu Niku assortment (signature meat assortment)" is the one to get if you are not sure what to order.

It comes piled high with pork offal such as pork tongue, kashira (meat from the head), and Outside skirt. The meat, grilled over a shichirin (small charcoal grill) to your liking, is said to have a nicely browned surface and lots of rich flavor packed inside.

The signature “Shirokoro Matsuri” is served in a jar, marinated in a special miso sauce.

The super fresh shirokoro (grilled pork intestines) is said to turn crisp and fragrant when slowly grilled over charcoal. The more you chew, the more the rich fat spreads, giving it an addictive taste.

散歩とランチとビール

This is Yakiniku that leaves you very Manzoku. They say it is Horumon, but the quality is very high and each cut of meat tastes great. The kalbi and Outside skirt are much better than at a typical Yakiniku restaurant. The set menu comes with rice, and eating Yakiniku with rice makes for a really well-balanced and tasty meal.

First, we ordered the negi tan shio (salted beef tongue with green onions). We neatly rolled it up so the green onions would not spill out. It got a nice sear too. It was very good. It was thicker than it looked, so it was hard to finish in one bite, but we went for it in one bite. I was pretty drunk after that, so I could not take many photos, but the roast beef and Strip loin were also excellent.

The "Special Set" is a luxurious menu that lets you compare 8 kinds of Omakase rare cuts.

The "Kimi Maru (warishita sauce & raw egg)" is a yaki-suki menu item. It is a popular dish made with Spencer roll, and many people seem to visit just for this.

When you quickly grill the Spencer roll and dip it in beaten egg, its rich flavor and deep taste are said to fill your mouth.

Shinchan0721

If you want to enjoy really high quality Horumon at a reasonable price, this is the place. I do not even remember how many times I have visited, but I think the Mountain chain tripe and toro-mino (fatty Mountain chain tripe) stand out in particular. The curry Horumon also goes great with beer. They have a wide selection of drinks too, and I leave fully Manzoku every time.

The kalbi seemed to be A5 rank, with good marbling and a tender texture. The Horumon champon was also filling, and if you order a large rice, that alone will leave you full.

The otoshi (small appetizer) of asazuke kimchi (lightly pickled kimchi) was fresh and juicy, and I really liked the seasoning. The quality of the otoshi was amazing! The meat was incredibly fresh! There was a wide variety of cuts and seasonings, so it was fun to compare them. In particular, the super thick fresh tongue with its plump, bouncy texture was unbelievably good.

くすのきグルメ

Thick cuts of lean red meat grilled to a fragrant finish. Crispy on the outside and moist inside, with rich flavor that spreads as you chew. Spicy kimchi and the house special sauce sharpen the taste for a luxurious yakiniku (Japanese grilled meat) experience! Every cut of meat was excellent, and the selection of reimen (cold noodles) and other dishes was great too, so I left very Manzoku.

My son and I ordered a variety of dishes, and everything was delicious. Even the half portion of yukgaejang gukbap (spicy beef soup with rice) was a huge amount for me, so I had my son help me eat some of it. The seafood was also very good, and I was very Manzoku.

Gyu-Kaku Kamata Ten

Gyukaku Kamata Ten is a Yakiniku restaurant in a great location, just a 5-minute walk from Kamata Station.

The interior has a clean and calm feel with a wood-grain theme. In addition to counter seating that makes it easy to stop by alone, there are also sofa seats and box seats, creating a space where you can relax and unwind.

The popular All you can eat menu is well stocked with 50 items even on the reasonably priced course.

Along with high quality meat, it also offers a full range of kimchi, salads, and side dishes, so the level of Manzoku is said to be high.

The a la carte "Shimofuri Jo-Tan Shio (premium marbled salted beef tongue)" comes with 2 thick cut slices of tongue per person.

It is said to be a luxurious dish, with only 8 slices available from a single animal. When eaten with the wasabi served alongside it, the sharp, fresh heat leaves your mouth feeling clean and refreshed.

Since it is very close to Kamata Station, it is convenient and easy to stop by when you feel like having Yakiniku. I ordered the reliable Gyukaku kalbi and salted tongue, and everything tasted good and was also good value for money. It felt just right, and I could enjoy the meal casually. I would like to visit again.

The 70-item All you can eat + All you can drink deal is great when you just want to dig in without thinking too much! My top pick is bonjiri (chicken tail)! Honestly, I underestimated it lol! I ended up ordering about 6 extra plates lol!

Since it is near my workplace, I went there because I was craving grilled Horumon. The meat was nicely marbled with fat and tasted great. It was also nice that I could grill it on a shichirin (small charcoal grill) and enjoy charcoal grilling. Since it is near my workplace, I would like to go back again.

Charcoal grilling, and especially a shichirin (small charcoal grill), is the best way to grill Yakiniku! I can't say much since I haven't been to other Gyushige locations, but Gyushige Umeyashiki Ten is top level All you can eat and drink Yakiniku with great meat and god-tier service.
