For its yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), the restaurant mainly uses Ena-dori (a branded chicken from Gifu Prefecture). It is known for its firm texture and rich flavor.
You can order from 2 skewers, and choose either salt or tare sauce for the seasoning. The photo shows the "Kushiyaki 5-shu assortment," where you can enjoy 5 Omakase grilled skewers. They say the grilling is spot on and tastes great.

They also offer a wide variety of menu items besides yakitori (grilled chicken skewers). In particular, oden (a traditional Japanese simmered dish with ingredients cooked in dashi broth) seems to be popular. You can order from a range of ingredients such as daikon radish, eggs, and konnyaku (yam cake).
There is also an A la carte All you can drink plan, which is great for those who want to fully enjoy the drinks.

The manager’s service in particular was polite and very good. The food was reasonably priced. The oden (Japanese hot pot dishes) in particular was great value for money. I enjoyed the meal. The yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) was also delicious.

Next, I ordered a yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) assortment with salt, and it was plump, the pieces were large, and it was packed with flavor and very tasty. Personally, I especially liked the bonjiri (chicken tail) and sunagimo (gizzard). Since the yakitori was so good, I figured the Kara-age had to be good too, so I ordered it, and it was huge, crispy, juicy, and incredibly delicious. Ordering it was absolutely the right call.

The yakitori skewers like tsukune (chicken meatball skewer), negima (chicken and scallion skewer), and sunagimo (gizzard skewer) also have just the right amount of salt, and they are grilled perfectly. To finish, the "salmon and ikura (salmon roe) Clay Pot rice" has an irresistible toasty aroma and the fun pop of the roe. The service is also polite, with a comfortably attentive sense of distance.

We ordered a variety of kushi (skewers), and every skewer was nicely grilled with a fragrant aroma, while the slightly sweet sauce tasted great and went down easy good (^_^)vIt was not just the skewers that were tasty, the seafood was fresh too, and I was surprised to see the salad piled high with plenty of seafood that looked like sashimi (raw fish) (*´∀`)

For the yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), they use Kinso-dori (Aichi-raised chicken) that is processed fresh the same morning. It has tender meat with a nice bite, and is known for its rich flavor. They carefully skewer each piece by hand in the restaurant every day.
Using the far infrared effect of binchotan (high-grade charcoal), the chefs grill it slowly to bring out its full flavor.

They offer a wide range from standard cuts to rare cuts. You can enjoy each cut with the recommended seasoning for that part. The photo shows sunagimo (gizzard), served with salt.
Another nice point is the "Binchotan Yakitori Zanmai Course," where you can enjoy 7 kinds of yakitori and a variety of side dishes with All you can drink.

What you should try first here is the "chochin." The kinkan (undeveloped egg yolk) and himo (oviduct) are seasoned with an excellent tare sauce, and kinkan, a rare chicken part, bursts with rich yolk when you bite into it, which makes it fantastic.

We ordered a variety of items with yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) as the main focus, and every dish had a rich sauce that really whetted the appetite. It also paired perfectly with alcohol. We heard that the closing sweets meant one item per person, so we made sure to order them. We enjoyed the meal all the way to the end with a real sense of Manzoku. The staff were polite and pleasant, and it felt like a place we would definitely want to visit again.

The chicken skin has a crispy-chewy texture and is coated generously in a sweet sauce♪ If you like spicy food, the Karamasa skewer is also recommended♀️You can keep eating them one after another.

The "kawayaki (grilled chicken skin)" is a special dish made with care over 6 days, repeating grilling, soaking in sauce, and resting. By aging it, the fatty parts develop a rich, deep flavor.
It is said to have a crispy outside and a chewy inside, with the house-made sauce soaked in for great taste. It also pairs perfectly with alcohol.

The kawa-yaki (grilled chicken skin) at Hakata Kawa-ya is grilled over and over for several days to create a rich flavor. The shigi-yaki comes with a wasabi soy sauce glaze that you will keep coming back to. They also offer Hakata specialty motsu-nabe (offal Hot Pot) and Japanese sake tasting flights, making this a place you will want to visit at least once. To finish, the soup really hits the spot.

It was very delicious. I visited at the invitation of a friend who grew up in Hakata, and the Hakata specialty chicken skin had a rich sauce flavor and a satisfying bite that was different from any chicken skin I had eaten before.

It had a calm atmosphere with Semi-private room seating. Each A la carte dish was quite large, and we ordered too much at once and got full right away. The sumibiyaki (charcoal grilling) and gyoza (dumplings) smelled great and tasted very good.

Every dish was delicious! The drinks also came very quickly! I also appreciated that they have Semi-private room. The steak was very good. The cream croquettes were also something you do not see very often elsewhere. The staff were also very nice.

The popular momo-yaki (grilled chicken thigh) is crisp and nicely browned on the outside, while staying juicy inside. It has a rich aroma, and the simple salt seasoning brings out the quality of the ingredients. The meat is slightly thick and satisfying to eat, and it pairs perfectly with beer or a highball.

The All you can drink menu also has a wide selection, so you can enjoy it without getting bored. These days, it is hard to find many places where you can get this level of quality and service at this price. The value for money really stands out, and it felt like a great deal. After this visit, I became a big fan of this restaurant.

The yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) is quickly grilled over high heat from charcoal until nice and fragrant, locking in the flavor. The far infrared effect leaves it tender and juicy.
The photo shows the "Kushi assortment (5 skewers)," where you can enjoy five kinds including thigh, skin, and ponjiri (tail). You can choose either salt or sauce for the seasoning.
They offer a wide selection of grilled skewers featuring pork, lamb, squid, and vegetables, along with creative skewers. Everything is said to be delicious and goes well with drinks.
You can also enjoy yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) in one of several courses that come with All you can drink. These courses also include side dishes such as Kara-age and French fries, making them a good value and very satisfying.

Lately I’ve been really into bonjiri (chicken tail), and I eat it without worrying about the calories lol. This time I went with tare (sweet soy sauce glaze)! Since the skewers grilled right in front of you are often salted, I deliberately chose tare. The portion size was just right, and it coated the meat nicely, so it was really tasty!

・Waiwai Course
The portion was just right, and every skewer was good. The fried items were nice too, especially the bariteba, and the Kara-age was also really good. We could have done without the salad, but well, it was a course meal lol. The staff were attentive in a good way, and it also left a nice impression when they told us midway through, “We forgot to mention this earlier, but the course is now 10% off.”
