Restaurants in Tottori Prefecture [around Yonago, Sakaiminato, and Daisen] where you can enjoy Yakiniku

Nikuya Seiseido

Nikuya Seiseido is a Yakiniku restaurant in the Yonago area, within walking distance of Fujimicho Station on the JR Sakai Line.

The calm interior is fully equipped with table seating, counter seating, zashiki (tatami seating), and fully private rooms. It is a popular place that works well for many different occasions.

It has a strong reputation for letting you enjoy yakiniku (Japanese grilled meat) made with Special branded beef and manyo-gyu (pure Tajima bloodline beef). The Top blade cut of manyo-gyu is a rare part said to have rich umami and sweetness.

They also serve many different cuts, from standard options to rare ones, and for items like tongue, you can choose from different seasonings and sauces such as salt or miso.

Specialties are all here too, including the "Strip loin tartare topped with caviar" and "beef nigiri (hand-formed sushi)".

Reviews praise the "brand-name beef Tenderloin cutlet sandwich." One bite and the meat juices gently spill out. The moist bread and the rich flavor of the high-quality lean meat come together in a highly satisfying dish.

The restaurant had a calm feel and a sense of luxury, with many Private rooms. All of the meat was tender and delicious, but the Outside skirt had sweet fat and was addictive. We finished with the Chateaubriand, which melted in the mouth and tasted really good with the garlic chips. The kimchi assortment was not too spicy either, and it went great with rice.

The katsu sando was so good it was on another level…! Even the bread was properly seasoned and prepared to match the katsu, and it was really delicious! The hanasaki tan (cross-cut beef tongue) and yaki-shabu (lightly grilled beef for dipping) were all delicious too, and every bite made it such a happy time. The restaurant also had a luxurious feel, and the staff were very warm and friendly.

Oyama Kurogyu Dokoro Kyokoshitei

Oyama Kurogyu Dokoro Kyoshotei is a Yakiniku restaurant in the Yonago area, about a 7-minute walk from Fujimicho Station on the JR Sakai Line.

The interior has a Japanese feel, with partitions made from fine bamboo. The first floor has table seating, and the second floor has tatami seating and Private rooms.

If you want to fully enjoy the great taste of Daisen Kurogyu (Daisen Black Wagyu), the "Kyo-shotei Recommended Assortment - Daisen -" is a great choice.

Rare cuts such as Top sirloin, kurimi (a shoulder cut), sotohira (part of the thigh), and senbon tendon are also popular, and another appeal is being able to compare them while enjoying the meat's natural flavor.

The "yaki-suki of two rare cuts" lets you enjoy Spencer roll and Top blade.

They quickly sear the meat, then dip it in egg meringue and a special sauce. This dish brings together the best parts of Yakiniku and sukiyaki, so you can enjoy both at once.

h-no.730

Overall, the meat is not too fatty and easy to eat, and the sukiyaki-style egg is made by whipping the egg white into a meringue and mixing it with the yolk, which helps the meat and egg coat each other well. It has a unique and memorable taste compared with what other restaurants serve. Even the dessert was delicious.

They offer a full selection of fresh Wagyu and Horumon, along with great snacks to go with drinks.

For courses with Banquet and All you can drink, options like the “Tottori Wagyu Course” let you enjoy high quality meat. If you want to try a little of several cuts, the “Choi-mori (small assortment)” menu is popular.

The recommended lunch option is the "Tottori Wagyu lunch." It comes with Yakiniku such as Wagyu short rib, loin, and short rib, plus a daily side dish and soup, making it very satisfying.

After the meal, you can choose either hot or iced coffee, and it is served free of charge.

When I actually took a bite, the meat's rich flavor spread through my mouth. It was nicely marbled, tender, and juicy, and together with the salt or sauce, it tasted amazing. The Horumon also had no off notes and a great texture, and the thick cut Beef Tongue in particular had a satisfying bite and was delicious.

When I visited, there were already other customers there, and more came in after me, making the restaurant lively and fun. I stayed for about 75 minutes, and luckily there was space for me to sit at the end, where the seat was very comfortable and I felt completely at ease. I also got the impression that table turnover was quite good.

Yakiniku Ueba

The calm interior is equipped with counter seats and zashiki (tatami seating). It is popular for letting guests enjoy Yakiniku grilled on a traditional roaster.

You can enjoy Yakiniku made with carefully selected Domestic meat.

The restaurant’s top recommendation is Horumon, and the photo shows “Heart” and “gyara (fourth stomach).” Reviews also said that there were many kinds of Horumon they were trying for the first time.

The "Jokarubi" of Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black Wagyu) is also recommended.

It has rich marbling, but the fat is not heavy, so it stays easy to eat. It also has a nice texture once grilled, and the more you chew, the more the umami spreads in your mouth.

ponponくん

First, the beef tendon with ponzu sauce and the kimchi assortment. Then the tongue, loin, and short rib. Both the loin and short rib were melt-in-your-mouth tender. Next came tsukune (seasoned chicken meatball skewers), sausages, a Horumon assortment, salad, white Omasum sashimi, pork belly, and chicken neck meat. Overall, I was able to enjoy a wide variety of meats in small portions and left very satisfied.

I went to Ueba to eat Yakiniku to recharge my stamina. I also enjoyed the Horumon assortment and regular liver. The regular liver in particular was such good quality that it felt like, “Isn’t this premium!?” My dining companion does not usually eat much Horumon, but at Ueba they eat it so fast that I cannot even take photos in time.

They also pay close attention to the balance between the momi-dare (seasoning sauce rubbed into the meat) and the tsuke-dare (dipping sauce). It is said to be great with both alcohol and plain white rice.

Another draw is the lineup of menu items made with as few additives as possible.

Reviews also talk about the wide variety on the menu. In addition to grilled dishes, they also offer a full range of meal options like bibimbap, gukbap, and cold noodles, making it a handy place for a full meal as well.

harui342

The meat here is great, but the side dishes include chijimi (Korean savory pancake), bibimbap, gukbap (rice soup), and yukgaejang soup. You can try all kinds of things, and everything tastes good, so it is fair to call this place top notch. I also like how quickly the food comes out. Sometimes the bibimbap even arrives before the meat.

A lunch where you can enjoy Tottori Wagyu. The Special meat double lunch. The Manyo-gyu (Manyo beef) was really delicious. Salt and wasabi go incredibly well with the sweet meat! In Tokyo, this would probably cost more... The kalbi was pretty standard, maybe, though it had some sweetness, but the tender texture of the meat really felt Special. It went great with rice, and it didn’t feel heavy on the stomach. It became a place I’d want to eat at if I go to Tottori. It was a great meal♡

The Premium Loin, Premium bara (short plate), and regular bara all tasted even better than expected. Other reviews did not mention the tail soup, but it had a volume of meat and great taste that you would rarely find at other restaurants.

The restaurant has a Western style design, and the space feels very open. The quality of Tottori Wagyu is very high, and every cut was delicious. The seafood of the day was also very good. I made a reservation about 2 hours in advance and visited. I came to eat Tottori Wagyu. Even though it was rich and fatty, I did not feel sick or heavy afterward at all, and that alone really impressed me. The meat called Olein 55 had a nice sweetness and was very delicious! I want to come again!

Omi Yakiniku Horumon Sudaku Tottori Ekimae

"Omi Yakiniku Horumon Sudaku Tottori Ekimae" is a Yakiniku restaurant in a great location, about a 3-minute walk from Tottori Station on the JR Sanin Line. The bright, clean interior, marked by eye-catching cow illustrations, feels inviting.

Each person at the table gets three kinds of dipping sauce: soy sauce, lemon sauce, and a mildly spicy sauce. They were all good, but the one I could enjoy all the way to the end was the soy sauce. Everything was delicious, but the A5 Omi gyu (Omi beef) marbled lean loin, Omi gyu liver, and gari Outside skirt were especially irresistible.
