The torigushi (chicken skewer), cooked just right, gets great reviews for having no off notes at all and an irresistible springy texture.
You can order from just one skewer, and choose either salt or tare sauce, so part of the fun is finding your favorite.

The "yaki-onigiri (grilled rice ball)" is perfect To finish a drinking party, and you can choose from two flavors: soy sauce or miso.

They have everything from seafood and Kara-age to grilled items and skewers, and every one of them is good enough that you really can’t go wrong. Sometimes when a place is strong on seafood, the grilled dishes are weaker, but at Kushikou, every item tastes good enough to be the star. All of the recommended menu items look delicious, so it is hard to choose.

The "Date-dori (brand chicken), mune-kushi (chicken breast skewer)" is a popular menu item, with reviews saying it offers such an impressive level of flavor and springy texture that it is genuinely moving!
It is said to be so moist that you would hardly believe it is breast meat, and despite the simple seasoning, the flavor of wasabi comes through clearly, making it excellent.
The photo shows “55 Tori Rebanira,” which the staff cooks right in front of you.
The well-seasoned soup is packed with plump chicken liver and garlic chives, and adding a raw egg gives it extra richness and umami, making it excellent.

This shop's specialty is liver delivered fresh every morning from Shibaura.
The "Shinsen Reba no Rebateki (Fresh Liver Steak)" is a dish you grill to your liking over the tabletop shichirin (small charcoal grill), then eat with sesame oil and salt. It apparently goes perfectly with a highball.

One of the restaurant's recommended dishes, the "Noko Demi-gura Hatcho Miso Nikomi (Rich demi-glace Hatcho miso stew)," is packed with motsu (offal) in a soup that looks pitch black.
The ingredients are well infused with flavor, and it apparently goes well with both Japanese sake and beer.

The rebateki (grilled liver steak) looked good at first glance, and the liver itself was beautiful. You grill it at the table to your liking. Good liver goes great with drinks. It was my first time trying the fuwakucha skewer (lung), and the texture really was soft and chewy! It was such a strange sensation. This also paired well with drinks◎

If you are not sure what to order, the first thing I recommend is the "Meibutsu Niku Mori (house specialty meat assortment)." It is an assortment of four kinds of meat, including tongue and Heart.

No matter what you eat, it is all delicious, but the item that really stood out from other places was the negima (chicken and scallion skewer). The highly praised "sashimi assortment" is said to be outstanding. This visually beautiful plate lets you enjoy thick cut tuna, salmon, hotate (scallop), and more all at once.
The tako (octopus) in particular is high quality, with a nice springy bite that makes it especially tasty.

The sumibiyaki (charcoal grilled) yakitori comes in a wide variety, including thigh, skin, and tsukune (chicken meatball), among others. You can choose either tare sauce or salt, which makes you want to try all kinds of combinations.
Among them, the "thigh" is said to be especially good, grilled to a crisp and juicy finish.
The chicken wings in particular were really good, tender and juicy. It was also nice that the restroom was clean. I would like to go again. It was a great meal.

In a good way, it was a very standard izakaya (Japanese pub). It had a nice lineup of classic menu items. In a rural place like this, I thought it must be a welcome spot for the locals. Every dish was fairly good, and even the salty cucumber otoshi (small appetizer) was refreshingly nice.

Hamayaki Kaisen Izakaya Daisho Suisan Keikyu Kamata Asuto Uizu Ten is an izakaya right in front of Kamata Station, and it is known as a place where you can enjoy fresh seafood hamayaki (beach-style grilling).
The restaurant has a lively atmosphere, and the energetic service from the staff leaves a good impression. It is a great choice when you want to have a fun time with friends.

If you want to enjoy hamayaki (grilled seafood), the Omakase hamayaki full set, which comes with all the main kinds of seafood, is a great choice.
You cook it yourselves on a tabletop grill, which makes it even more fun and is a nice way to bond with your group.

The restaurant’s signature dish is the "bukkake-zushi kobore assortment." It is a visually striking dish with plenty of maguro (tuna), salmon, ikura (salmon roe), and more piled generously over hosomaki sushi.
It also pairs well with alcohol, so it is recommended to order it as a snack with drinks.

The fried shrimp was bigger than expected, and I was very Manzoku. The quietly impressive dish was the motsu-ni (stewed offal). It was simmered well, and the meat was tender and tasty.

かなこ!
I thought it was nice that even when it was busy, drinks came out quickly. Since they prepared fish from the tank, the fish was still moving when it was served. I think whatever you order will be good.

Daikinboshi Kamata Ten is an izakaya (Japanese pub) where you can enjoy lively get-togethers in a retro interior with a nostalgic feel. The all-you-can-refill yakisoba (fried noodles) that comes with the course meal is especially popular.
The second-floor seating in particular has a calm atmosphere, and it is said to be so comfortable that you may end up staying longer than planned.

The restaurant’s signature dish, “Yatai-fu (street stall style) Teppan-yaki yonaki yakisoba (late-night soba-style fried noodles),” is such a popular menu item that some people come here just for it.
The Kansai-style thick noodles are said to be chewy and hearty. The slightly sweet sauce coats them well, making the dish really great.

They also have a full lineup of a la carte dishes that look just right as snacks to go with drinks.
The photo shows the “Danshaku korokke (Baron potato croquette).” It is said to be tasty, with a nice contrast between the crispy coating and the fluffy texture of the potato inside.

Overall, it was great value for money, and we ordered a variety of dishes. The portion size of (Each) item for one person was just right for four people to share. Everything tasted good, and it made me want to try even more of the menu. This is the perfect place to drop by casually in Kamata! It was a great meal.

The yakisoba uses thick Kansai-style noodles. The quality lives up to it being one of the specialties here. It is filling too. This is a casual taishu sakaba (Japanese pub) that is surprisingly tasty. My impression is that the owner here really likes alcohol and knows drinkers well.
