Kitashinchi Shabu-Shabu Sukiyaki Kiraku

Kitashinchi Shabu Shabu Sukiyaki Kiraku is an 11-minute walk from Umeda Station.

The calm interior has the warmth of wood and a Japanese feel. The seating is Sunken kotatsu seating, so you can stretch out your legs and relax in comfort.

The shabu-shabu is supervised by Chef Hasegawa of Gourmandise, a hard-to-book bistro in Tokyo.

It uses a broth made with kombu kelp from southern Hokkaido to bring out the flavor of the meat, and you can enjoy it with house-made ponzu sauce or fragrant sesame sauce. It is said to have a melt-in-your-mouth texture the moment you take a bite, with a refined taste.

They serve Tamura Gyu (Tamura beef), a kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black Wagyu) often called one of the finest in Japan.

The courses featuring shabu-shabu enjoyed with kombu kelp broth and "mushi shabu-shabu," finished in a seiro (steaming basket), are especially popular. Its fine textured meat and deep rich flavor are said to fill your mouth.

manamiita224

The main dish, mushi-shabu-shabu (steamed shabu-shabu), comes plated in a way that gets you excited at first sight. It includes a wide variety of vegetables and several kinds of meat like pork and beef, so you can enjoy a lot at once and get great value too. The real highlight, though, is the dipping sauce. They serve sesame sauce thinned with dashi broth and house-made ponzu sauce, and both taste excellent.

I visited Kiraku in Kitashinchi. Head downstairs and you will find a restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. The seating is spacious and comfortable, and the service is attentive. The shabu-shabu made with Domestic Kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black Wagyu) is nicely marbled, tender, and very delicious. The house sesame sauce also pairs well with the meat and tastes great. I had a very nice time.

San Bettei Kitashinchi Ten

San Bettei Kitashinchi Ten, about an 8-minute walk from Umeda Station, is a high-end shabu-shabu specialist.

The restaurant offers plenty of seating options, including table seating, Semi-private room-style seats, and fully private room options. You can enjoy your meal in a chic, upscale atmosphere.

They serve a carefully prepared shabu-shabu Hot Pot made with aguu-buta (Okinawan Agu pork), a much talked about specialty in Okinawa.

Aguu-buta is a rare brand of black pork native to Okinawa that has been enjoyed since the days of the Ryukyu Kingdom. It has few off notes and little scum, and its appeal is its tender texture that seems to melt in your mouth.

The "Agu Buta (Agu pork) Shabu-shabu Course" is available for both lunch and dinner.

For the shabu-shabu made in a crystal Hot Pot, they recommend wrapping it in lettuce and enjoying it with shiikuwasa ponzu sauce. It has a clean finish that brings out the sweetness of the meat.

苦楽園の住人

For the main shabu-shabu, a crystal Hot Pot made of crystal makes an appearance, creating an exciting presentation from the very first look. The pineapple agu (Okinawan pork) comes in two cuts, belly and loin, with a great balance of sweet fat and rich meat flavor. It is also recommended to swish lettuce, mizuna (potherb mustard greens), enoki mushrooms, and shima-dofu (Okinawan tofu) through the broth, and enjoy mozuku (Okinawan seaweed) shabu-shabu along with them. The house special slightly sweet ponzu sauce gently ties everything together.

ぽめグルメ

The fat has outstanding sweetness and aroma, and with just a quick dip in hot water, it becomes so tender it seems to melt in your mouth. It goes very well with the house-made ponzu sauce and sesame sauce, which bring out the rich taste of the fat even more. Enjoyed with fresh seasonal vegetables, you can keep eating it without getting tired of it until the very end, and To finish, the zosui (rice porridge) or udon is also excellent.

An acquaintance took me here. This restaurant lets you eat lots of unusual kinoko (mushrooms). I got to try all kinds of uncommon items. Basically, you cook and eat them in a black soup Hot Pot. This soup is really delicious. I enjoyed it as a fairly healthy meal. Besides the counter seats, there were also tables. I would like to visit again.

This is a place in Kitashinchi where you can eat Agu-buta (Okinawan Agu pork). The interior was clean, and there were Private room and counter seats. The dipping sauces were not limited to just ponzu sauce, so I never got tired of them, and every sauce was good. I also really loved the To finish soba. I would definitely come back.

The interior felt very clean, and the moment I walked in, it was filled with a great aroma✨The reba (liver) monaka (wafer shell) served as an appetizer was outstanding...I couldn't resist and ordered another one. Three kinds of meat came out for the main course, so although the portion was large, I enjoyed eating it✨Next time I’d like to try the sukiyaki (Japanese hot pot) too☺️

えりりんこ

The vegetables were lettuce, mushrooms, and benshin daikon (red-fleshed daikon radish). The pork came as belly and loin. The broth was so good that it never felt heavy, and I could enjoy it lightly all the way to the end. The katsuobushi (bonito flakes) used to make the broth was also tasty eaten together with the meat. For the final dish, I could choose either noodles or zosui (rice porridge). The zosui made with this delicious broth was outstanding.

This is the place I go to whenever I’m in the mood for shabu-shabu (Japanese hot pot). I usually order the L size of the premium mixed platter, then keep adding more and end up eating my fill. I like covering the sesame sauce with lots of green onions, wrapping them in the meat, and eating it that way. It’s also nice that the one-person Hot Pot built into the counter adds a bit of excitement.

The shabu-shabu here takes pride in its kogane no dashi (golden broth), which is based on katsuo dashi (bonito broth). Right before you eat, they add extra bonito flavor with thick-cut katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes), which boosts both the aroma and richness even more, and since it is already seasoned, you can enjoy it as is.

This restaurant serves vegetable skewers on sticks that you enjoy like shabu-shabu. It was very elegant, the broth was tasty, and I was very Manzoku. I also appreciated how healthy it was. They had prepared a Private room for us, so we could relax and take our time. I’d love to go again.

Kisoji Kitashinchi Ten

Located just a 1-minute walk from Nishi-Umeda Station on the Osaka Municipal Subway, Kisoji Kitashinchi Ten is in a very convenient location.

The interior has a calm wa-modern (Japanese modern) style throughout, and it also has Private rooms where you can relax without worrying about the people around you.

They offer shabu-shabu made with Special meat selected from all over Japan that meets Kisoji's inspection standards, served with seasonal vegetables.

A quick dip in the broth removes excess fat and brings out the meat's rich flavor. You can also enjoy plenty of cooked vegetables.

The popular dinner "shabu-shabu" course uses marbled Wagyu, letting you enjoy the meat's rich flavor and the sweetness of its fat.

Starting with a sakizuke (appetizer), the meal finishes with kishimen (flat udon-like noodles) and mochi (rice cakes), so you can enjoy every bit of the broth's flavor and leave fully satisfied. It is said to be gorgeous and perfect for celebratory gatherings.

くら寿司太郎

The main dish, Kumano-gyu (Kumano beef) soy milk shabu-shabu, was stunning. It had a melt-in-your-mouth tenderness the moment it hit your palate, and it matched perfectly with the mild, rich flavor of the soy milk broth. In the end, it was so good that I wanted to finish every last drop of the broth.

It feels so luxurious to enjoy both fugu (pufferfish) and shabu-shabu (Japanese hotpot) together. Every dish was delicious, and the marbling on the shabu-shabu meat was beautiful! The slices of meat were large and satisfying, and also tender and tasty. The sauces included both ponzu sauce and sesame sauce, so it was nice to compare them. To finish, we had kishimen (flat wheat noodles) and mochi (rice cakes)! We left feeling completely full!

Shabu-shabu and Japanese Cuisine Tachibana

Shabu Shabu Nihonryori Tachibana is a shabu-shabu restaurant about a 2-minute walk from Umeda Station on the Hankyu Line, and the interior has a soft atmosphere with the warm feel of wood.

The restaurant is fully equipped with well-spaced table seating and convenient counter seats. It also has fully private rooms where you can dine without worrying about the people around you, making it easy to use for all kinds of occasions.

Domestic beef shabu-shabu and Awa Biton (Awa pork) shabu-shabu are popular. They use their own cutting method to bring out the meat’s natural umami and sweetness.

It is well reviewed for having a satisfying bite, while the right amount of marbling in the lean meat melts in your mouth and makes it juicy.

One reason the shabu-shabu is so popular is that you can choose from five kinds of soup.

They offer everything from the standard kombu kelp and rich ago-dashi (flying fish stock) to mild sesame soy milk, spicy red chili pepper, and light yet rich tomato. Since the Hot Pot is divided, you can choose up to two kinds at once.

Of course!! The kuroge Wagyu (Japanese Black beef) was tender, rich, and melt-in-your-mouth with no off notes, but the Domestic beef was tender too!! The Awa Biton (Awa pork) was light, healthy, tender, and tasty. For the broth, we chose sesame and kombu kelp broth. The sesame broth was so good I could drink it down like soup( *´艸`)But in the end, I still settled on the classic shabu-shabu with kombu kelp broth.

The vegetables were All you can eat, and I could have as much of the kinds of vegetables I do not usually eat at home as I wanted. The meat was thinly sliced, which made it very easy to eat. Since they served everything quickly, I never felt like any of the All you can eat time was going to waste.

We chose kombu kelp broth and a spicy broth, and the spicy broth was really good. Even after ordering, a cat robot smoothly brought the dishes, so we could eat at a nice pace. There was also a wide variety of vegetables, and I was happy they had satsumaimo (Japanese sweet potato) and gobo (burdock root).

I was happy to enjoy such a colorful spread with lots of vegetables. The lettuce was crisp and tasty. Lettuce works well for shabu-shabu (Japanese hotpot), for sure. We added egg zosui (rice porridge) to the tonyu dashi (soy milk broth), and kishimen (flat wheat noodles) to the Wagyu broth. We enjoyed it all the way through the finishing dishes without getting tired of it.
