Once inside, I found a stylish restaurant with a great atmosphere and a mature feel. I ordered the Omakase kushiage (deep-fried skewers) course, and every single skewer that came out was incredibly delicious.

The batter is thin and light, so you can enjoy quite a lot. What stood out most was the foie gras, which may be unusual for kushiage (deep-fried skewers). The restaurant had a calm atmosphere. In addition to the counter seats, there are two Private rooms, and the location close to the station was very convenient.

Conveniently close to the station. It had a stylish and easy-to-walk-into atmosphere. They had a great selection of drinks, including Japanese sake tasting flights. Along with soba, they also had a full lineup of small plates. The vegetable stick dip had basil in it, and the iburigakko (smoked pickled daikon) cheese came with kani miso (crab tomalley), so the menu was full of unusual but tasty dishes you do not find in many other places.

Since it was tofu, I could enjoy a healthy meal with lots of wonderful dishes. I still can’t forget the rich tonyu (soy milk) we had before the meal! It was also great with dashi shoyu (soy sauce with dashi) poured over it, which changed the flavor nicely. The collagen pork shabu-shabu was good too! The broth was so tasty that I kept drinking it the whole time.

First, the freshly shaved katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes) soup that came out at the start was really delicious! The meat was great of course, and it paired perfectly with Okinawa-yaki shio (Okinawa grilled salt) and the house mustard! The hitsumabushi (eel rice dish) served after that was also very good! Inside, the high chairs give the space a bright, bar-like feel. At the restaurant terrace seats, you can relax while enjoying a pleasant breeze.

One of the most popular items at this restaurant is their sumibiyaki tori (charcoal grilled chicken skewers). They use Banshu Hyakunichidori (free-range chicken from Hyogo Prefecture) and grill it juicy over Kishu Binchotan (high-grade Japanese charcoal).

Their rich, added-to-over-time tare (savory sauce) is said to bring out the chicken’s natural flavor.

They also recommend the piping hot creative oden made with chicken bones, kombu kelp, and bonito dashi.

I liked the All you can eat options, including yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) and seafood dishes. They brought everything out very quickly, and although I ordered all sorts of things, each portion was small, so it was nice to be able to try a variety of dishes. I made a reservation before going, and the restaurant had a clean Semi-private room.

I visited for a Girls' night out and had the yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) All you can eat and drink course, and the restaurant was clean and the staff were polite and attentive! It was a 2-hour limit, the food came out quickly, and everything tasted great. Best of all, I didn't have to worry about the price and could order all kinds of things I wanted to eat, so I was very satisfied.

Kobe Beef and Washoku (Japanese cuisine) Regional Cuisine Saryo Kenshiro Sannomiya Honten

An izakaya just a 1-minute walk from Sannomiya Station on the Kobe Municipal Subway, located on the 3rd and 4th floors of a building. You can enjoy kyodo ryori (regional cuisine) and creative Japanese dishes along with a wide selection of local sake.

The restaurant has a variety of seating, including counter seats, ozashiki (tatami seating), and tables. It is a good choice for days when you want to relax and chat at length.

The "Kobe beef steak Teppan-yaki" is served with grilled vegetables such as renkon (lotus root) and carrots.

The thick-cut steak is lean yet tender, with a light, tasty flavor.

Their "Kieru Maho no Dashimaki Tamago (vanishing magic rolled omelet)" is a dish of soft, creamy dashimaki tamago (Japanese rolled omelet) topped with green onion.

It has a light texture, and they say you can really enjoy the rich flavor of the dashi.

The interior had the feel of a newly opened place, with great energy, and all the staff were cheerful and kind! It had Private room seating, counter seats, and even horigotatsu (sunken floor seating), making it a place that seemed easy to use for all kinds of occasions. The atmosphere was also nice, and I ended up staying longer than expected. If you want to enjoy good food and drinks in Sannomiya, this is a place I’d definitely recommend.

The chicken Kara-age salad had really tasty chicken. The slightly smaller cut pieces of chicken mixed well with the vegetables, making it even better and easy to eat. I could also enjoy the house red wine while taking in the aroma of its solid medium body.
