兵庫県篠山市の山深く。色々な山の恵みを囲炉裏の炭火で頂ける有名なお店です。
この時期は鮮度の高い猪鍋が頂けるとあってジビエ好きな私は前々から狙っておりました(^m^)
一応最寄駅は篠山口ですがお店は車じゃないと絶対訪問不可能な山の中です(^_^;)
この辺りはかつて火打石の産地だったらしく、店名もその名残で『いわや』だそうです。
お店は苔生す茅葺屋根の超渋い佇まい。入口に猪の剥製があったりして気分は否が応にも盛り上がります(^_^)
店内はだだっ広い座敷になっていて囲炉裏が沢山あります。おお〜コリャ雰囲気出るねぇ(^_^)
一見寒そうですが囲炉裏の熱と床暖房が効いているので思いの外快適です。あぐらがキツイ方には座椅子の用意もあります。
メニューはこの時期だと猪鍋メインですが、和牛や地鶏に川魚なんかもあります。秋は松茸も登場するんだとか。
とはいえ今回はガッツリ猪狙いです。初志貫徹で猪鍋と猪のヘレステーキを頂くことにしました。
ちなみにドライバーの宿命でノンアルコールです(T_T)
猪鍋
猪肉は真っ白な脂身をたっぷり蓄えていて何とも言えない美しさ。赤身の鮮やかさも素晴らしく『牡丹』とはよく言ったものです(^_^)
鍋には味噌ベースのツユが煮立っています。最初に猪肉を入れてあとは野菜の硬さ順に投入。全体にしんなりして来たら完成です。
かなりしっかり煮込まれても猪肉は硬くなったりしません。力強い弾力があって脂身がブリブリします。ぬふぅう、この野趣溢れる味わいと歯触りが堪らんのう(^m^)
臭みなど一切なく全体に旨味の塊です。濃厚な味噌味にも負けない力強い旨さ。命を頂くってこういうことなんですね。
〆はごはんかうどんを選べます。今回はごはんと玉子でおじやにしました。これまた最高です(^_^)
猪ヘレステーキ
追加で注文。これ一皿で4000円しますがせっかくなので行っときました(^_^)
猪鍋の肉と違ってこちらは赤身主体。ややあっさりしてますが香りと血のコクが素晴らしくいかにも肉食ってるかんじです。
猪は豚の先祖だと思うんですが、この風味は豚肉よりも牛肉に近いかもしれません。締まった肉質でかみつぶすとかなり快感ですね(^_^)
観光名所的なお店と聞いていましたが、想像以上にちゃんと旨いです。作った感の無い本気の民家っていうのが良いですね(^_^)
こちらではなんと米も自家製です。目の前の田んぼ(写真参照)でガチで栽培してます。なんちゃって田舎風飯屋とは本気度が違います。
昔は鹿刺しもやってたらしいですが今は取り止めたそうです。うーん、その頃来たかったなぁ(^_^;)
料理も良かったですが雰囲気や周りの環境も含めてかなり楽しみました。大人気のお店ですが評判は本物です(^_^)
