You can enjoy handmade 28% soba noodles and seasonal dishes in the restaurant.
Matsugen is located at the bottom of the Sendai slope. The interior of the restaurant has a counter arranged around a charcoal fire, and the walls are finished with clay walls made with buckwheat husk |
麻布十番の商店街から南へ5、6分。喧騒から落ち着いた仙台坂下のエリアにあります。外観だけでなく店内も照明を落とし気味で、炭火焼きを囲むようにカウンターがあって、落ち着いた雰囲気が良い。
2軒目なので、日本酒（純米大吟醸の澤屋まつもと 守破離）とそれに合う肴を数品とお蕎麦をいただきました。
・活穴子天麩羅（穴子1本、野菜3点）
・北海道たら白子天ぷら
・山口朝どれ〆鯖刺し
・金目鯛カブト煮付け
いずれもレベルが高くて盛り付けも素敵で丁寧な料理でした。天麩羅はカリッと揚げられ、穴子はふわふわで美味しい。厚切りの〆鯖も新鮮で、金目鯛は醤油コッテリの関東炊きで旨い。
もりそばは、風味と喉越しがよく食感が自分好みでした。
蕎麦だけでなくお刺身などの一品料理も豊富で、炭火焼きもあって、これはかなり使い勝手の良い蕎麦屋です。ごちそうさまでした。
