アメリカンステーキ好きな私としては以前から来たかったお店でやっと機会があり訪問できました。
お店はいわゆるアメリカのステーキハウスで雰囲気も良く高級でありながらリラックスできるカジュアルさがあります。ソファの背もたれが革張りだと個人的には満点です。
珍しくコースで注文してあったのでエンパイアコースをいただきましたが、シーフードプラッターのエビやロブスターはもう少し塩味があってもいいかも。この辺は好みなので塩をかけて食べれば問題無いです。ベーコンの入ったサラダと量的には日本に合わせてそれほど多く無いです。
いよいよエンパイアステーキですが、シャトーブリアンとサーロインが食べられ、何よりシャトーブリアンの柔らかい赤身のお肉は旨味が凝縮した初めての味でした。正直期待以上の味です。サーロインも美味しく肉好きを唸らせる理由が良くわかりました。
接客もフレンドリーながら丁寧で、都内のステーキハウスでは最も素晴らしいです。
とにかくエンパイアステーキは騙されたと思って一度食べて欲しい逸品です。
次回はコースでは無くアラカルトで楽しみたいです。
