１０月９日、妻と来店。表参道の駅のすぐ近く、地下にある店。カウンターに通された。カウンターはわりと空いていたのだが、客を詰めようとするのはどうかと思う。店内の感じはわりと庶民的。それほど高級感はない。ざわざわしている。しかし、料理は美味しかった。グリーンアスパラの炙り焼きは、アスパラの甘味がぐっと出ていた。これが本来の美味しさなのか、とちょっと驚く。鰆の炙り刺しも、魚というより肉みたいな甘味を感じた。ここの炙りものは大変にうまい。黒大豆おぼろ豆腐も黒大豆の風味がよく出ている。愛媛甘とろ豚の黒胡椒焼きは、もうちょっと豚の脂身の甘味が出ていればと思う。このほか、手羽先と煮玉子を食べた。最後に京風きざみきつねうどん。「京風」と名前が付くものにろくなものはないが、これはまあまあ美味しかった。うどんの麺がこしがあってしっかりしている。しかし、だしは今一つ。関西のうどんのだしはもっと甘いものだ。ちょっと物足りない。むしろ、妻が食べていた九条葱と紀州梅うどんの方が美味しかった。梅の酸味でややぼんやりしただしの味にアクセントがついていた。問題は酒である。最初にビールを飲んで、日本酒に移行し、高清水を２人で３合飲んだのだが、日本酒の種類が面白くない。他には久保田や八海山などどこにでもあるものばかり。もうちょっとバリエーションが欲しいところ。もっともここはウイスキーの店なのかも。しかし、刺身とウイスキーは合わないと思うのだがどうだろう。
