静岡オヤジ旅行の3日目ランチは、1961年創業、沼津市内に4店舗展開されている鰻卸問屋直営の此方。
この日は土用の丑の日。店前にはテイクアウト用のテントも設営され大変な混雑。
随分待つかな、と思ったら20分程して呼ばれて入店。新たに宴会場が増設された事もあって回転は早く、鰻の寝床のように奥行きの有る店内。
注文はタッチパネル操作。私はうなぎの蒲肝一本(蒲焼、肝照焼き、肝吸い、お漬物)3,880円(税抜)。
摘みの鰻の骨を頂きながら30分程して着丼。
こんがり焼けた焦茶色の蒲焼、隣に肝照焼き。タレの香ばしさが鼻腔を擽ります。年に1,2回しか頂けない私にとって、この時期の鰻は胸が高まります。
山椒をふりかけて早速頂きます。
蒲焼は柔らかく厚みが有り、ふっくらした食感。焼き加減も良く、山椒の香りとタレの甘味も有って箸が進みます。ご飯もふっくらで、タレが染みて美味しい。
肝照焼きも苦味とタレの甘味で濃厚な味わい。肝吸いとお漬物も暑さで塩分が出たからか適度な塩味。
土用の丑の日に鰻卸問屋直営のお店で頂く鰻は格別でした。しかも東京の鰻専門店であれば、もう少し値段も高い事でしょう。ご馳走さまでした。
