友人と浅間神社をお参りした後、参道を歩いていたら行列ができていたので覗いてみました。
店先でどら焼きの皮を焼く甘い匂いが辺りに漂っており、つられて列に加わりました。
真顔のご主人が皮を焼きながらお客さんにジョークを繰り出し、待ち時間も苦になりません。
並んでいる途中で、焼き上がり時間の書かれた札を置かれたので、「？」と思っていたら、この時間帯のどら焼きの生地が終わりのようです。
私の前に並んだ方たちが上限購入個数の5個ずつ買っていくのでハラハラしていましたが、私と友人の分はギリギリセーフ。
あんこをたっぷり挟んでもらって、店先のベンチでいただきます。
焼きたてホカホカのどら焼きは初めていただきましたが、皮の端がカリッと、真ん中はしっとりふんわりで、飲み物なしで一気に食べてしまいました。
食べている間にも次々にお客さんが来て、どら焼き終了にがっかりしていたので、店先で見せびらかすようでゴメンナサイと心で言いながらも美味しくいただきました。
焼き時間は1日2回、11時半と、15時半からなので、時間を合わせて訪問されることをお勧めします。
