休日の矢掛本陣巡り。
暖かくなってきて、少しずつ観光客が増えてきたような気もしますね。
足休めに訪れたのは、メインストリートの人気カフェ、ティーツーラボさん。
カレーやハンバーグ、パスタなどのお食事もできますけど、わたしがお目当てとしていたのは、お団子！
いろんなお味があるんですよね〜。
あんこ、みたらし、きなこ、ずんだ、さくらなどなど。
串団子一本からでもいただけますし、いろんな串団子がワンプレートとなっている『だんご行列』なんていうステキなメニューも！
でも、ボリュームがあるので、シェア前提かもしれないですね。
わたしは、お一人様ですから、だんご行列を泣く泣くあきらめて、さくらあんのお団子とホットコーヒーをオーダー。
番号札の代わりに渡されたのはキレイなビン。
ほぼ満席でしたけど、わずかながら空席がありましたので、二人がけのゆったりしたソファ席へ。
待つこと１５分くらいでしょうか。
お団子とコーヒーが提供されました。
お団子３つが串に刺さって、その上にさくらあんが乗っていました。
お団子のひとつひとつがかなり大きめです。
この大きさを考えると、だんご行列は、やはりシェア用かなぁ。
お団子は、軽く炙られていて、香ばしさを感じますね。
さくらあんは、桜花の風味がかなりしますし、甘さも強めでした。
とても美味しかったですね。
コーヒーは、普通かな？
酸味が強めの浅煎りな豆ですね。
これは好み次第でしょう。
ともあれ、目的のお団子を堪能できましたので、とても満足できました。
次は、誰か連れて行き、ぜひとも、だんご行列を。
