It's definitely within walking distance, probably around 7 minutes.
I discovered a new soba restaurant called Issa An!
I found this place through a magazine.
I was drawn in by the delicious-looking duck soba, but they also offer duck shabu-shabu and duck sukiyaki, along with a great selection of drinks!
I had a feeling it would be a nice place to enjoy some appetizers before the main meal!
By the way, since I wasn't ordering a course today, I went for the duck bukkake soba!
The staff recommended it, and it was an excellent choice!!!
It might have been even better than the regular duck seiro soba!
The flavor was quite delightful, and I really enjoyed it!
They also provide soba-yu (soba water) even with the bukkake style!
"Make sure to enjoy it with the duck fat!" they all advised me with a smile.
The service was fantastic, making it a great spot for entertaining guests as well!
The variety of drinks is impressive!
They seem to focus on Japanese sake, but they also have a substantial selection of whiskey and wine!
It seems they have only a limited selection of shochu, though...
Additionally, there are table seats, private rooms, and counter seating, making it suitable for various occasions!
The area near Nakakaruizawa Station seems like a fun place to drink and explore!
I’d love to check out more places individually!
