The bakery café located in the hotel "still," which was renovated from a drive-in in Oiwake, Karuizawa, offers a lovely space surrounded by a quiet forest where you can enjoy bread and cakes made with organic ingredients.
I purchased a baked cheesecake and a banana pound cake to take away, which I enjoyed for breakfast the next morning.
The pound cake was moist and delicious. The baked cheesecake had a comforting, homemade taste, reminiscent of what my mother used to make.
I didn't have time to dine in this time, but I would love to visit the café next time.
It was a great meal!
