I had visited this restaurant once before and had been wanting to return.
I was a bit worried since it had undergone renovations, but the exterior and interior remained largely unchanged.
The menu had some changes; unfortunately, the Karuizawa vegetable bagna cauda I had been most looking forward to was no longer available. Instead, I ordered the steamed vegetables with bagna cauda sauce.
In addition, I ordered the shrimp and spear squid risotto, margherita pizza, and Shinshu mushroom pasta.
The bagna cauda sauce was delicious as always, though I wished I could have enjoyed it with fresh vegetables.
The risotto had a wonderful flavor from the seaweed, and the textures of the shrimp and squid were delightful.
While the food was still delicious, I felt a bit disappointed as my previous experience had left a strong impression.
