ユカワタンで素敵な時間を過ごす幸せ : Breston Court Yukawatan

Karuzawa is always beautiful, but I never expected to visit in the middle of winter.

This time, I was invited by a friend to stay at Breston Court, where I had previously attended a wedding, and we decided to reserve a spot at Yukawatan after enjoying the Tonbo-yu hot spring.

I only knew the name Yukawatan, so I was curious about what kind of dishes they serve.

I heard it's French cuisine, which made me a bit excited.

I only knew that they offer a lot of game dishes, so I selected a wine and we were ready to start.

The game consomme was surprisingly light.

Next came the Shinshu trout sashimi and the Pâté de Roy, and the dishes kept coming.

Everything was easy to eat. I thought it might have stronger flavors, so I was relieved and enjoyed every bite.

The lily bulb confit was delicious! It was made with large lily bulbs, tender and smooth.

Everything was delicious and satisfying. I heard that the baguette is imported from France.

The word 'game' is French, and I had the chance to taste some game meat, which was a great experience.

That day, hotel staff and Yukawatan's team mentioned that it was the warmest Karuzawa they had ever experienced... I only thought, 'Oh, is that so?' at the time.

However, that night was extremely cold, and when I woke up in the morning, there was snow. By noon, everything was covered in a beautiful white layer of snow, even though it was very cold.

I am grateful to my friend for bringing me here during this season.
