This is Rayon Vert, a beloved bakery among locals that often sells out early in the day.
At first glance, you might mistake it for an ordinary house, especially when it’s closed.
This time, I finally managed to visit.
My friend mentioned that she had been turned away 3 or 4 times before.
I also had no luck on my last attempt.
As I opened the door and greeted the shopkeeper, an elderly gentleman came out to assist me.
When I told him what I wanted, he kindly retrieved it for me.
While the appearance of the bread may not be trendy, the texture and flavor were undeniably delicious.
You can tell that they are made with great care and attention.
I hope to make it in time for the opening hours next time as well.
