I finally had the chance to visit Sawamura Bakery, a place I had wanted to try for a long time!
The restaurant is located within the Harunire Terrace in Karuizawa.
Both the exterior and interior are chic and luxurious, creating a wonderful atmosphere reminiscent of a foreign restaurant.
Since it was a weekday morning, I was able to enter without waiting.
The French toast comes with bacon and is drizzled with maple syrup. If you enjoy sweet and savory flavors, you will definitely love this dish!
The accompanying salad was also plentiful and delicious.
The person I went with ordered the Sawamura Morning Set, and they said the bread, bacon, and sausage were all incredibly tasty.
I ordered a café latte as my set drink for an additional JPY 200.
The coffee was simply amazing! It had a rich flavor and was very satisfying.
The staff were friendly, and enjoying breakfast in the beautiful air of Karuizawa was the best experience.
I would love to visit again the next time I come to Karuizawa.
On my way out, I also bought a country loaf, which had a wonderful wheat flavor and sweetness that I really enjoyed!
