I wanted to explore some good restaurants in Karuizawa...
As I walked along Karuizawa Hon-dori, I spotted a charming café!
With its open terrace, it even had tables where dogs were welcome, creating a lovely atmosphere.
I was eager to go in, but the place was fully booked...
However, after a short wait, I was able to get a table!
Looking over the lunch menu, I saw that their recommendation was the Conversa Original Curry.
I quickly placed my order.
This turned out to be an excellent choice!
I think more people would order it if they included photos on the menu, as the tender, well-cooked meat was generously generous!
The rice was garnished with fried onions and parsley, making for a beautifully presented dish.
It also came with a soft-boiled egg, leaving me completely satisfied.
The curry was made with coconut milk and wasn’t too spicy, complementing the rich flavor of the meat, resulting in a creamy sauce. I would love to come here regularly if it were nearby.
My family ordered the BLT sandwich, which was also said to be hefty and delicious.
The sandwich looked great, but when I come back, I’ll definitely be ordering the curry again.
