Grill Shinshu beef, pork, and young chicken to perfection in our special fireplace!
Using a special fireplace with oak wood, we grill fresh and robust ingredients like young chicken, lamb, Chiyo Maboroshi pork from Nagano, and Shinshu Premium beef. While you wait for the meat to be grilled to perfection, enjoy our appetizers featuring seafood delivered directly from the Sea of Japan! |
For my summer trip, I chose Karuizawa.
I had no idea there was such a wonderful restaurant in this familiar resort area.
The highlight of this place is the meat grilled over a wood fire.
Australian beef and whole chickens are cooked right by the fireplace, and the sight is truly impressive.
What I particularly enjoyed was the buffet-style appetizers that come with lunch.
Since our table was quite close to the buffet, I had a great view of it, and I noticed about ten different dishes being replaced at just the right timing.
Moreover, new dishes kept coming in, which made it hard to resist overeating.
By the time the main course arrived, I was already about 80% full...
For the main, I splurged a bit on the specially sourced Chiyo Gensuke pork from Shinshu.
It takes about 30 minutes to cook thoroughly, so I ended up overindulging in the appetizers.
I’m a fan of fat, and this one was delicious!
I believe the richness rivals that of Iberico pork.
I left the restaurant feeling full and satisfied.
I can't wait to come back!
