I was able to take some time off and traveled to Nagano Prefecture, where I visited this bakery for breakfast.
It’s a well-known spot in Karuizawa, famous for having been visited by John Lennon in the past.
The interior has an eat-in space with two tables for four, two tables for two, and three counter seats.
<Salt Croissant>
The chewy texture was quite pronounced, which was nice.
However, I felt the saltiness was a bit too mild... I would have preferred a little more salt.
<French Bread>
The outside was crispy while the inside had a nice chewiness.
It has a simple flavor that seems even better when paired with ham or cheese rather than eating it plain.
While it wasn’t "incredibly delicious," it had a rustic charm that was enjoyable.
<Apple Pie>
The crust was perfectly flaky, and the filling was abundant and wonderfully gooey!
It had just the right amount of sweetness, with a prominent cinnamon flavor.
This is a truly high-level apple pie!
<Summary>
The salt croissant and French bread were decent, but the apple pie was absolutely delicious with no complaints!
