EBIZO

EBIZO, about a 5-minute walk from Shibuya Station, is a grown-up seafood restaurant where you can enjoy lobster imported from Canada cooked the way you like.

The interior is done in an American vintage style, creating a calm space filled with the warmth of wood. The seating is said to be designed so guests can relax and enjoy conversation.

One of the big draws is that you can choose a lobster from the tank inside the restaurant, and they will finish it right in front of you using your preferred method, such as grilling or steaming.

You can also enjoy the aroma and sounds as it is cooked, making it a full sensory lobster experience. They also offer Appetizers and pasta dishes made with lobster.

The famous guruguru ebi-fry (spiral fried shrimp), which has also been featured on TV, is a popular dish that many customers order just like the lobster.

It sounds hard to resist, with a crispy outside and plump, springy texture inside, and you can also enjoy the performance of making tartar sauce right in front of you.

オルカール

I visited for dinner. I had the lobster prepared americano-style, and the flavor was packed with lobster umami as much as you could imagine! It was delicious. I also really liked the summer truffle risotto, which had a great aroma and richness.

For their signature paella, we ordered the "Paella Escriba M" and the "Ikasumi Paella S". The rice was cooked just right, with the rich flavor of the seafood soaked in, giving it a truly authentic taste. The Escriba paella in particular came with luxurious ingredients and was very satisfying to eat. The ikasumi (squid ink) one also had great depth and was very delicious.

Everything was delicious. I enjoyed the smooth drinkability of a first glass of fine-foamed Premium Malt's. They had fresh oysters from many different production regions, and every one was tasty. They paired perfectly with white wine. The piping hot fried oysters were outstanding, and I ended up ordering another beer. I really enjoyed both the drinks and the food.

I was craving bouillabaisse, so I visited for the first time in 2 years, trusting my memory of how good it was the last time I came. It was every bit as good as I remembered. If you want bouillabaisse in Shibuya, this is definitely the place. The rich soup with plenty of seafood is excellent, and the sliced almonds go really well with it too. The ajillo was reliably good as well, and I was very Manzoku.

・Lobster Roll Large
The amount of lobster inside changes depending on the size. There are four sizes, and Large is the second biggest! The bread is soaked with garlic butter, filled with lobster, and topped with basil sauce. Taking a big bite full of lobster was pure happiness. It was incredibly delicious...

The lobster sandwich feels satisfyingly heavy when you pick it up, which somehow makes you happy. The bread is soft and fluffy, but the surface is lightly crisped and just a little warm, with a nice butter aroma and just the right touch of salt, making it really tasty! Then there is the lobster meat packed in as much as possible, and getting some claw meat now and then makes it even better.

They enjoyed six fresh oysters, fried oysters, and butter grilled oysters prepared in different ways. Every style was delicious, and the lemon and red wine sauce on the fresh oysters added a great change of flavor. The fried oysters were a classic. The butter grilled oysters were soft, rich, and felt new. The oyster pasta was full of flavor and easy to keep eating. The spacious, relaxed atmosphere was also very GOOD with white wine.

I ordered the oyster course. It is a great pick for oyster lovers. The oyster and cheese cream gratin was especially memorable. The rich cream was full of oyster flavor, and it went perfectly with the cheese. Even at lunch, it gives you that Manzoku feeling of really getting to enjoy oysters. It is just right for a slightly special lunch day at Hikarie. If you love oysters, this is one place to remember.

What left the biggest impression this time was, without a doubt, the "kaki no tower (oyster tower)" lol. It lets you enjoy raw oysters, grilled oysters, and fried oysters all at once, and it had a pretty striking look too. The oysters were all large, with a very satisfying bite in every mouthful, and I enjoyed their plump texture and rich flavor.
