The tongue was thick and Manzoku. After the Outside skirt, Hanging tender, and even the loin came out, there was Chateaubriand. Without a doubt, full marks. The drinks selection is also extensive.

Miyazaki Gyu (Miyazaki beef) Daiichigo Shitei Ten Yakiniku no Kokaen Tachibanadori Ten

Miyazaki Gyu Daiichigo Shitei Ten Yakiniku no Kokaen Tachibanadori Ten, about a 13-minute walk from Miyazaki Station, is a popular spot where you can fully enjoy Miyazaki beef Yakiniku, with the owner personally attending the auction to select the meat.

The clean interior is divided across two floors, with table seating on the 1st floor and Sunken kotatsu seating on the 2nd floor. The seats are well spaced, so you can stretch out your legs and relax while enjoying your meal.

The limited quantity "shio-tan (salted beef tongue)" made with tan-moto (base of the tongue) and tan-naka (middle of the tongue) is a popular menu item.

The moment it hits the grill, the fat starts to melt with a sizzle, and the toasty aroma really whets the appetite. One bite brings a light crisp texture and the rich flavor unique to beef tongue, according to reviews.

The "Outside skirt" is served in thick cuts, with an excellent balance of lean meat and fat.

The sauce-marinated "Outside skirt" is juicy and known for its smooth texture on the tongue. It is more filling than it looks, and said to leave you very satisfied.

ミネルバの梟は暁に飛ぶ

What we ordered was the Tenderloin (salt) half, the half Premium Loin, the half Premium kalbi (short rib), the half yaki-shabu (lightly grilled thin-sliced beef), napa cabbage kimchi, and a ginger highball. The meat was, as expected, A5 Miyazaki beef. Every cut was irresistible, with a texture that melted in the mouth after just a quick sear.

のんたろうログ

The roaster had strong ventilation, so the place did not get smoky and smells did not stick easily to clothes or hair. The tongue had a nice crisp bite and was satisfying to eat, while the kalbi had just the right amount of fat. As expected, the quality of the meat is very good.

The loin of Miyazaki-gyu (Miyazaki beef) is available in two types: thick cut and thin cut.

The "thick-cut loin" in the photo is as thick as a mini steak. It has beautiful marbling and is said to be so tender it melts in your mouth.

This time, we ordered from the à la carte menu instead of the course. Every cut of meat was fresh and delicious, and the thick cut roast was especially great. The cold noodles and gukbap we had to finish the meal were also very good. It was a great meal.

Sumibiyakiniku Nikuro

At Sumibi Yakiniku Nikuro, you can enjoy authentic charcoal grilled Yakiniku centered on beef from the restaurant's own ranch.

The white toned interior is a cozy, comfortable space with a homey feel. The restaurant offers raised tatami seating and box style table seating that you can choose based on your group size.

These are the recommended “Pork Horumon Combo” and “Beef Outside skirt.”

The meat grilled over a shichirin (charcoal grill) is nicely browned on the outside and juicy, they say. The flavor of the meat is concentrated, and it goes great with white rice.

The "koune (part of the brisket)" in the photo is a cut from the beef brisket, and it is said to have plenty of rich fat.

Because it has a lot of fat, it is said to melt away in your mouth. If you eat it simply with salt and lemon, its great flavor really stands out.

金太郎610

On this day, the jo-tan (premium beef tongue) was thick and tasty. Tsurami (cheek meat), lean meat, and kone (brisket around the shoulder). These are rare cuts. And the tail was also great. It was a little hard to eat, though. The flavor was perfect. It looked light, but the taste was rich. The fat was delicious.

The casually styled interior offers counter seats made for solo Yakiniku, four-person box seats, and table seating for larger groups.

You can fully enjoy Yakiniku made with "Emo-gyu (Emo Beef)" raised by Arita Bokuchiku Sangyo in Miyazaki Prefecture.

The photo shows the "Saito-shi Arita Bokujo Emo-gyu Tail." These are thin slices of beef tail; after sprinkling them with the salt and pepper on the table and grilling them, gnawing on the meat around the bone makes them a perfect snack to go with drinks.

The "thick cut Premium Beef Tongue" is a luxurious dish made with generously cut tongue base that is rich with fat.

It is said to be especially delicious when eaten with green onions dressed in sesame oil, which brings out the juicy flavor of the tongue. It is also more filling than it looks and very satisfying to eat.

ぺいずりぃ

This is a Yakiniku restaurant with an All you can eat and drink style where you order on a touch panel. The dining area is not that large, but it felt clean and nice. The menu is extensive, with lots of different options. Being able to have All you can eat dessert is definitely a plus.

Miyazaki Yakiniku Kingyuen

Miyazaki Yakiniku Kingyuen is a Yakiniku restaurant where you can casually enjoy Miyazaki gyu (Miyazaki beef).

The stylish interior has counter seats, Sunken kotatsu seating that can be partitioned with screens, and Private rooms for groups. It is comfortable, and some people apparently drop by on a whim whenever they feel like eating meat.

For the Yakiniku, every item on the menu is available in a half size.

The "Jo-Tan" in the photo is said to use the tender, well marbled base of the tongue. It has a clean bite, and a squeeze of lemon brings out the savory flavor and the sweetness of the fat.

The popular repeat order item, the Outside skirt, has just the right amount of fat and offers a tasty, lean meat-like flavor.

It has a nice marbling, but people say it is lighter than kalbi (Korean-style short ribs). Reviews also say it tastes good with either sauce or salt.

てげちゃん

The meat is high quality and easy on the wallet, and when I spoke with the owner, they said they have Miyazaki-gyu (Miyazaki beef) specially cut so it tastes its best. Apparently you would hardly ever find it at this price outside the prefecture! Miyazaki is the best❤︎

ゆゆろく

I visited with a course reservation, and the first Beef Tongue was amazingly good and melt-in-your-mouth! The kalbi and lean cuts were also really tasty and great! The kuppa (Korean rice soup) served at the end was seriously delicious, packed tight with seafood flavor, and it was so good that I finished it easily even though I was already full by the end☺︎

On my first visit to Miyazaki Prefecture, I got to try authentic local beef, and as expected, it was fresh with no off notes, and everything was just so good.
