For the yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) at this restaurant, Special kinds of chicken are chosen for each cut. They use Tosa binchotan (high-grade charcoal from Tosa) to grill the yakitori.
The yakitori wrapped in the aroma of the charcoal has an irresistible smoky flavor.
Photograph:fc892a
They also offer a full lineup of a la carte dishes that pair perfectly with drinks. The "salmon smoked tartare" in the photo has a rich taste with a nice tang, and it's said you could keep eating it forever.
You can choose from Japanese sake and wine Specially selected by kikizakeshi (sake sommeliers) and sommeliers, so this is also a great pick for people who love drinks.

I enjoyed several freshly grilled skewers again today! They are not just simply grilled, but carefully done in a way that lets you enjoy the seasoning and even the presentation too, which gets a double circle of approval❣️Once again, I was reminded of the high quality of Tamaya-san's skewers! And I was impressed by the Appetizers and the rice To finish, which were just as tasty as the skewers, along with the hospitality of the staff.

I enjoy daytime drinking while having the yakitori Omakase. This place has a wide selection of drinks, especially wine, and they also have many wines by the glass, so it is nice that you can enjoy many different wines❗️The yakitori I especially liked were jo-momo yaki (premium grilled chicken thigh), saikyo-yaki (Kyoto-style miso-marinated grill), shiitake (shiitake mushroom), ramu-yaki (grilled lamb), and seseri negi (chicken neck with green onion)!

"Sumiyaki Dai Tachikawa Green Springs Ten" is a restaurant where you can enjoy yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) cooked over bincho-zumi (high-grade Japanese charcoal) and sushi. It has sister restaurants in Yokohama and Shin-Yurigaoka.
It is about a 5-minute walk from Tachikawa Station. On days with nice weather, the terrace seating comes recommended as well.
Photograph:TonTan
The restaurant’s yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) and kushiyaki (grilled skewers) can be ordered from just 1 skewer. The "Iwai-dori (Iwai chicken)" from Iwate Prefecture is said to be very juicy because the chicken is so fresh, with a lightly sweet flavor.
They also offer dishes seasoned with red wine and aromatic vegetables, making them perfect snacks to go with wine.
Photograph:otamaxx
Sushi made with fresh neta (toppings) on red vinegar rice is also popular. The rice, with its mild tang, is said to bring out the umami of the ingredients.
You can also choose sushi made with seasonal seafood, as well as ate-maki (snack-style sushi rolls) that are easy to enjoy like small bites.
In the calm wa-modern (Japanese-modern) interior, every piece of charcoal grilled yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) was carefully prepared with a nice smoky aroma. I especially liked the negima (chicken and scallion skewer), which was juicy. They also have sashimi and seasonal dishes, so there is plenty to enjoy without getting bored. There is terrace seating as well, which gives the place a great open feel, making it just right for days when you want to enjoy a relaxed meal.

As you would expect from a yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) restaurant, every skewer tasted great. The aroma from the charcoal grill was wonderful. You can eat them with mustard or with lemon juice. You never get tired of them. They just keep going down easy. And the staff were wonderful, so I had a really nice time!

Sumibi Yakitori Jubei Tachikawa Ten is a yakitori restaurant about a 1-minute walk from the south exit of Tachikawa Station. The chic-toned interior also has a Private room that can accommodate up to 18 people.

The restaurant’s yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) is carefully grilled over Domestic binchotan (high-grade white charcoal).
The photo shows the signature menu item, "jukusei torikawa (aged chicken skin)." By repeatedly searing it to remove excess fat, they create a crisp texture.

The dashimaki tamago (rolled omelet with dashi) made with “Tamago Dosue” eggs from Kyoto Tanba is also popular. The omelet, a solid yellow with no browning, has a very beautiful look.
The balance of savory dashi flavor and sweetness is said to be just right, making it so good that it naturally brings a smile to your face.
Each skewer grilled over charcoal is carefully cooked one by one, with fragrant skin, tender and juicy thigh meat, and just the right level of doneness. The limited white liver in particular was creamy with almost no off notes, and it paired perfectly with Japanese sake and beer. Side dishes like dashimaki tamago (Japanese rolled omelet) and oshinko (pickled vegetables) are easy to order too, and just the skewers and drinks leave you with a strong sense of satisfaction. The interior has a casual yet calm atmosphere

The "hakko sozai (fermented deli dishes)" made with carefully selected ingredients are also popular. Besides the 3-kind and 5-kind assortments, you can also order A la carte.

The service is good and the food tastes great! The prices are reasonable too, and it makes you want to go back again and again!! By the way, on my second visit, the Heart sashimi was so good! The seasonal ginnan (ginkgo nuts) were also absolutely delicious, and I was really impressed by how tasty the shiitake mushroom skewer and quail egg skewer were. I want to go again.

A yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) restaurant with a lavish otoshi (small appetizer). It was the first time I had roast beef served as an otoshi, and it was Surprising. There were even sofa seats, and it felt like a stylish yakitori place? More like a bar. The yakitori was all delicious too.

For dinner, I felt I could better enjoy what this place does well by choosing the All you can drink option and ordering whatever I liked from the A la carte menu. I was planning to order the standard thigh for the signature Teppan-yaki yakitori, but the menu also had a few other cuts, so I chose the rare furisode (shoulder meat) and chicken Horumon. The furisode had a great balance of springy texture and juiciness, and the chicken Horumon had plump fat with really tasty richness that was hard to resist^^ It was seasoned with a rich sauce, making it one dish that makes you want a bowl of rice★

Along with yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), you can also enjoy hon-maguro (Pacific bluefin tuna) from Yamayuki, delivered direct from Toyosu Market. They say you can fully enjoy the sweet richness of the fat that only fresh tuna has.
Another nice point is that you can eat rare cuts such as tsuno-toro (head meat), tussaki (tip meat), and hoho-niku (cheek meat).

This is the kind of reliable place where every dish is properly good. Even the Appetizers assortment is high level, and it gives you that feeling of, "Ah, this place is a winner." The yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) are cooked just right, and every skewer is juicy. The maguro (tuna) and namerou (minced fish with seasonings) are very fresh too, and paired with nori (seaweed), you could keep eating them forever. As always, Sumire's yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) has that consistently good taste. The skewers are prepared in advance, but they grill them with care, and the yakitori turns out well cooked overall with a nice texture. As expected, the seseri (chicken neck) was especially tasty. The sunagimo (gizzard) was also nice, plump and well done.

Many reviews said the restaurant's yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) are grilled very fragrantly, and you could keep eating them one after another.

The photo shows Hakata yasai-maki (Hakata-style vegetable-wrapped skewers), made by carefully wrapping pork belly around seasonal vegetables and grilling them. The rich pork belly and fresh juicy vegetables are said to make a perfect combination.
They also have a wide selection of highballs and sours, so it is also a great choice as an izakaya.

The menu has a wide lineup centered on yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), and you can enjoy standard skewers like chicken skin, bonjiri (chicken tail), and chicken Heart at a reasonable JPY352 for 2 skewers. The salt-grilled skewers were fragrant and went perfectly with drinks. They also offer fresh seafood dishes such as Beef Tongue sashimi and a 3-item sashimi assortment, so one of the appealing points is that you can enjoy seafood as well as grilled items.

FUDA
The natural sweetness of the ingredients really came through, and every skewer tasted fresh. The Beef Tongue was thick yet tender, and the more I chewed, the more flavor came out. The meat sushi seemed to melt in my mouth, with a rich and luxurious taste. The Kara-age was crispy and juicy, and the yakitori Rice bowl was hearty and filling, leaving me very satisfied.

The yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) here is said to have a crisp surface and juicy meat inside. It comes with karashi (Japanese mustard), and some reviews say they like being able to change up the flavor.
The recommended choice is the "Omakase skewer assortment," which lets you try the house picks.

The homemade nikushuimai (meat shumai) in the photo is said to release a juicy burst of rich meat flavor the moment it hits your mouth.
They also offer an easygoing lineup of alcoholic drinks, including bottles of Kinmiya Shochu and Hoppy.
焼き弁慶
Every dish was delicious, and even though the portions were big, I still ended up eating 7 dishes♪(´ε` ) That was way too much. As for drinks, since I love Kinmiya, shochu highballs were more than enough for me (=´∀`)The background music inside focused on Showa-era songs, and it felt really nice, so anyone who likes Showa kayō (Japanese popular songs) will really enjoy it( ˊ̱˂˃ˋ̱ )

We ordered one five-skewer yakitori Omakase per person, along with low-temperature cooked liver sashimi, mini okonomiyaki (savory Japanese pancake), and fried oysters. Everyone made a toast with beer. Every dish was delicious.

Toritetsu Tachikawa Ten is a restaurant where you can enjoy carefully grilled yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) and chicken dishes made with carefully selected ingredients. It is about a 2-minute walk from the north exit of JR Tachikawa Station.
Inside, in addition to counter seats and Sunken kotatsu seating, the restaurant also has Semi-private room seating that is perfect for group meals.

The yakitori uses the restaurant’s original branded chicken, Rakubidori (house brand chicken). Compared with regular chicken, it has a lower fat melting point and a tender texture.
Whether you eat it with tare sauce or salt seasoning, you can fully enjoy the chicken’s natural flavor.

Chicken dishes such as Kara-age and Teppan-yaki are also popular. The photo shows the lunch "Chicken Nanban set meal." At lunchtime, you can get free refills of rice and miso soup.
It comes with a raw egg, and some reviews say they were happy they could make tamago-kake gohan (rice topped with raw egg) with it.

The yakitori was tasty overall, and the sunagimo (gizzard) was especially good! The chicken skin was also tasty, but I completely forgot to take a photo of it (lol). I also enjoyed the other dishes in good balance, like Kara-age and Kara-age chicken cartilage, as well as the tomato skewer (^O^) To finish, I ordered the ukokkei tamago (Silkie chicken egg) creamy pudding, and it was very rich and melted on my tongue!

Every yakitori (grilled chicken skewer) was seasoned with just the right amount of salt, and even the sasami-yaki (grilled chicken tenderloin skewer), which can often turn dry, was moist and tasty. The restaurant’s recommended tsukune-yaki (grilled chicken meatball skewer) was outstanding.

Yakitori Yamacho Tachikawa Ten is a yakitori restaurant chain that has been in business for 35 years, mainly in the Tama area, and it is about a 3-minute walk from the south exit of JR Tachikawa Station.
The interior has a homey atmosphere, and you can casually enjoy food and drinks there.

The yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) made with fresh chicken and grilled over binchotan (high-grade white charcoal) is said to be cooked to perfection and so tasty you could keep eating skewer after skewer.
The shiso-maki (shiso leaf roll) and tsukune (chicken meatball skewer) are especially popular. If you want to try a variety of items, the Omakase assortment is recommended.
Photograph:すなぴか
The menu also offers a wide variety of single dishes, including fried items and dishes made with plenty of vegetables. Another nice point is that some menu items come in options like half sizes.
They also have a full drink menu that pairs well with yakitori (grilled chicken skewers).
まちむすめ
There are table seats and zashiki (Japanese tatami seating), and we were shown to a Semi-private room in the zashiki area. The yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) was juicy across the board, and each skewer was cooked just right. The tsukune (chicken meatball skewer) was large and very soft. The drinks also came in mega sizes, so we enjoyed everything at a good value.

They have a yakitori menu item called shiso-maki (grilled chicken wrapped with shiso), and the rich, high quality fat paired perfectly with the shiso it was wrapped in, so it was super delicious(^O^)The other yakitori was tasty too, but I got the impression that the shiso-maki stood out from the rest!I felt like I could eat any number of these♪At this Yamacho, they serve the yakitori with lemon + karashi (Japanese mustard)
