Every yakitori skewer was cooked just right, and the tsukune (chicken meatball skewer) and seseri (chicken neck) were especially juicy and excellent. The seating is also spacious, and the atmosphere is great for having a lively time with friends.

The owner said they simply serve the food as it is, but the care and work that go into making that simplicity possible are incredible, and each dish had real depth and left a strong impression.

The yakitori was simply excellent. The grilling was just right, they also had rare cuts, and I really enjoyed the chicken’s natural flavor. Of course the skewers were great, and they also had a wide selection of drinks. The owner and staff were kind too, saying, “You can do a sake tasting before you order,” which made the whole experience relaxed, enjoyable, and delicious.

I tried the owner’s special chicken wings at their previous restaurant and got hooked. They use Amakusa Daio (large Japanese chicken breed), Kuro Satsuma-dori Kokuo (black Satsuma chicken), and Kyo Aka Jidori (Kyoto red local chicken), and serve them after dehydration and aging.

We ordered the 5-skewer yakitori Omakase, Kara-age, kamameshi (rice cooked in an iron pot), ramen, and more. One person was running the place alone, but they prepared the dishes quickly and efficiently.
