This was my first time trying shamo (gamefowl) cuisine, and I was very pleased with the firm bite and the rich flavor of the fat, which was even better than I expected! They also introduced recommended yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) menu items, and the most popular shamo suki-nabe (gamefowl sukiyaki-style Hot Pot) was best enjoyed dipped in egg with its rich sukiyaki sauce.

My curiosity got the better of me and made me want to try a bit of everything, so I ordered skewers, tsukune (chicken meatball skewers), Kara-age, and reba-teki (lightly seared liver). • Yakitori
The satisfying bite you only get from Hinai jidori (Hinai free-range chicken), rich flavor that spreads with every chew, and the fragrant aroma of charcoal grilling. The thigh meat in particular was juicy without being heavy at all, which felt like just the right balance for me since I want to be kind to my stomach and gut.

I have visited several times, and it is always consistently good. The dishes are more filling than they look, and they leave you with a nice sense of Manzoku. This time I tried oden (Japanese stew) for the first time, and while it was light, the dashi flavor came through clearly, so I found another tasty dish to enjoy.

腹ペコ散歩人

I was very satisfied with the uni (sea urchin) focused course. Overall, the dishes were well seasoned with a solid saltiness that paired perfectly with alcohol and made the drinks go down easy. There was a wide selection of drinks, including alcohol, as well as many kinds of tea for dessert, so it was hard to choose. This time, I had sparkling wine, rosé beer, and tea, and all of them were fragrant and delicious.

The inside has a calm feel while still being lively, and it is said to draw a big crowd. Tables are lined up throughout the space, making it an easy place for groups to visit.

The "Goka Ozara Assortment" is a bold sashimi assortment that includes fresh wild caught fish. You can enjoy a well balanced mix of chutoro (medium fatty tuna), sweet shrimp, salmon, and more. The toppings are said to be fresh and delicious.

Fragrant sake and seasonal fish are said to pair perfectly.

This restaurant also has a wide lineup of drinks, including Japanese sake, beer, and shochu (Japanese distilled spirit).

ねはま

They were kind on the phone, and best of all, they have a wide selection of Japanese sake. They stock fine labels from all over Japan, and it was the best place for Japanese sake lovers!

The dining room has rows of table seating and a 분위気 that is perfect for groups. The seafood menu is extensive, and the especially fresh sashimi (raw fish slices) was very good. They also have a wide selection of Japanese sake, which pairs well with the food, and I ended up drinking a little too much.

はなよめネコ

There are just so many kinds of dishes on the menu! Everything is good with no misses. The Sara Udon is unbelievably huge. It has octopus-cut sausages in it, which gives it a one of a kind taste. There are plenty of seats, and while the place is lively, the tables are not too close together, which makes it very comfortable.

Nikujiru Gyoza no Dandadan Yotsuya Ten

Nikujiru Gyoza no Dandadan Yotsuya Ten is a carefully crafted izakaya (Japanese pub) created by gyoza lovers who spent a long time perfecting their food. It is located just steps from Yotsuya Station, in an alley off Shinmichi-dori.

The bright and clean interior is said to have a casual, unpretentious atmosphere.

The restaurant’s standard menu item is nikujiru yaki-gyoza (pan-fried dumplings filled with juicy meat juices). The skin has a chewy texture, and the filling inside is said to be packed with juicy flavor. It gets good reviews for being filling and tasty.

This dish is made to go well not only as a side with rice, but also as a snack with drinks.

This restaurant also offers a wide range of dishes besides gyoza (dumplings).

One item on the menu, the "aburi chashu (seared braised pork)," is said to have an excellent balance of fat and meat, with an irresistible smoky aroma from the searing. Reviews say it has a satisfyingly meaty texture and leaves you feeling highly Manzoku.

I had ordered the char siu assortment and gyoza before, and they were as reliably good as ever. The gyoza in particular were juicy with lots of meat juices even without any dipping sauce, almost like xiaolongbao. Both my companion and I love pakuchi (coriander), so we ordered the pakuchi salad. It was unbelievably delicious, and as a pakuchi lover, I was completely Manzoku.

ポリンキー8083

The nikujiru gyoza (juicy dumplings) are reliably tasty! The new motsuni (stewed offal) is also good, and the fried burdock is fragrant and tasty too! After the beer, I ordered the sour I was curious about, the one for tired people. It’s an energy sour, right? To finish DTKG! The rice is great!

I ordered sliced onions, beer, and gyoza (dumplings). The gyoza had the strongest seasoning I’ve ever had, so much so that I didn’t want to add anything else. I enjoyed them with just vinegar.

Hakata Sakaba Airashika Yotsuya Ten

Hakata Sakaba Airashika Yotsuya Ten is on the 1st floor of CO・MO・RE Mall, just steps from Yotsuya Station. This izakaya serves Hakata (a district of Fukuoka) street stall food and motsu Hot Pot (offal hot pot).

The lively interior, reminiscent of Hakata’s yatai (street food stalls), is one of its highlights. There are many table seats, and the place is always bustling with people.

The "mentaiko (spicy cod roe) motsu-nabe (offal Hot Pot)" is said to be a dish you will definitely want to order. The mentaiko (spicy cod roe) on top is apparently added generously right in front of you.

The texture of the motsu and the rich flavor of the mentaiko, together with the mildness of the miso, make it excellent. You can also choose soy sauce for the broth.

The torikawa (chicken skin) available to order from just 1 skewer is one of the recommended menu items. The chicken skin is grilled until crisp and coated in a house made sweet sauce, making it addictive.

They also offer a curry flavored spice powder, and it gets good reviews for letting you enjoy a different kind of taste when you sprinkle it on.

marine1002

For the motsu-nabe (offal Hot Pot) with all-you-can-add mentaiko (spicy cod roe), you can choose either miso or soy sauce flavor. I chose the miso flavor and had them pile in a heaping amount of mentaiko, and it was really delicious! I imagined the chicken skin would be rolled up, but it wasn't. The sauce was tasty.

For the otoshi (table appetizer), you can choose either vinegared cabbage or fried pasta, and I chose the fried pasta. The otoshi is actually All you can eat! The service was cheerful and good, and I would definitely like to come back again.
