Hiroshima Prefecture [Kure City] Restaurants Where You Can Enjoy Teppan-yaki

Teppan-yaki Toyofumi

Teppan-yaki Toyofumi is a teppan-yaki restaurant known for its Special Wagyu, and it also offers a full range of à la carte dishes, including sashimi made with fresh fish from the Setonaikai (Seto Inland Sea).

The chic interior has a variety of seating options, including counter seats where you can enjoy the live feel of the cooking and Semi-private room seating where you can relax without worrying about others around you. You can choose the best seating for the occasion.

The leaner "Wagyu Strip loin steak" is said to be a dish that looks luxurious at first glance.

Of course, it also tastes great, and the moment you take a bite, the rich flavor of the meat comes rushing in.

One of this restaurant's attractions is that you can choose the To finish rice dish in the course from three options. It gets such good reviews that some people even say, "The To finish rice dish was the best part."

The photo shows the garlic rice. The flavor of oba (perilla leaf) adds a nice accent, and it is said to be excellent.

It was a course featuring crossbred beef tenderloin and Strip loin. The meat was tender, with just the right amount of fat, and it was delicious! The course also came with dessert, and I left feeling very full! We also ordered an extra thick cut Beef Tongue, and that was tasty too. The restaurant had a calm atmosphere and a luxurious feel.

The owner-chef is highly skilled, and I was fully satisfied from the seafood sashimi to the grilled dishes, especially the fish dishes. The main meat course came with a dipping sauce, but personally I thought salt and pepper alone were more than enough (it was also good with wasabi). You can choose the rice dish at the end from 3 kinds. Since they recommended it by saying, "You came all the way to Kure," I went with the 'Ondo chirimen jako (tiny dried sardines from Ondo) Teppan-yaki fried rice,' and it was a total hit.
