Before I knew it, I had eaten so much! Everything I tried was delicious. For drinks, I started with a lemon sour, then enjoyed a few highballs and mugi soda (barley shochu with soda). One distinctive feature of this restaurant is that dishes are served at the restaurant’s own pace, rather than matching the pace of the guests!

The fried shrimp is perfectly crispy and pairs wonderfully with rice! The shiso rice here is truly outstanding—last time, I ended up having two extra servings, and I might do the same again. Now for the star of the show: the tenderloin cutlet. It's completely different from the tenderloin cutlets at other places. What really surprised me is how incredibly tender it is; the meat is so soft you could almost cut it with chopsticks. I never knew pork could be this tender.

まめでっぽう
Thanks to the low-temperature cooking, the tenderloin cutlet is incredibly soft and tender. While the coating on the side touching the plate was slightly soggy, the overall flavor more than makes up for it—it's truly delicious and exceptionally tender. You hardly even need to chew. The red miso soup is perfectly seasoned as well. Katsu Kichi is an excellent choice if you're looking to enjoy a relaxing meal in Shibuya.

The "Sakurayama Pork Zaru-mushi" features sliced pork belly and seasonal vegetables, gently steamed for a delicate flavor. It is served with two types of dipping sauces: ume ponzu (plum citrus soy sauce) and kaeshi (a traditional soy-based sauce).
The natural sweetness of the Sakurayama pork pairs perfectly with the vegetables. Another popular choice is the grilled Sakurayama pork, which is also highly recommended.

Sakurayama Pork
This pork is exceptionally tender, with a subtle sweetness from the fat that melts in your mouth. Because it is steamed in a bamboo basket, it remains light and healthy—perfect for those looking for a guilt-free meal. Choose from two dipping sauces: plum ponzu or kaeshi (a traditional soy-based sauce), and add a dash of chili oil for extra flavor. We recommend trying the kaeshi sauce with chili oil! Underneath the pork, you'll find a variety of seasonal vegetables such as Chinese cabbage. Wrap the vegetables in the pork for an even more delicious bite.

Soba-gaki
This dish offers a generous portion, equivalent to two servings. While soba-gaki at other restaurants is often served as a firm, dumpling-like mound before the soba is cut, here it is soaked in soba-yu (hot water used to cook soba noodles), resulting in an especially smooth and creamy texture. To enjoy, take a portion of the soba-gaki with some soba-yu, and add green onions, wasabi, and soy sauce. The rich flavor of the soba-yu pairs perfectly with the delicate soba-gaki.

アヒルヒメ
The appetizer was beautifully presented and perfectly complemented Japanese sake—almost as if inviting you to enjoy a glass. Mukashi banashi offers an impressive selection of Japanese sake, and the staff recommended a crisp, delicious option. The first sake I tried, called Katana Bi, was outstanding.

The interior of Usagi is surprisingly stylish and refined, offering an ambiance you might not expect from a typical okonomiyaki restaurant.
With its elegant decor and contemporary design, it’s an excellent choice for a date. If you’re looking to enjoy okonomiyaki in a calm, sophisticated setting, this is the place to visit.

The photo shows the "Miyajima Oysters with Butter," one of the restaurant's most popular dishes. Enjoy plump, juicy oysters bursting with rich flavor.
The drink menu is extensive, featuring beer, Japanese sake, umeshu (plum wine), and more, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a leisurely drink.

We ordered the Negiyaki as an extra dish. It was light, fluffy, and had a wonderful texture—truly a premium take on okonomiyaki. Refined and delicious. I realized as we finished that this is actually a Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki restaurant! Their okonomiyaki comes with soba noodles by default, and oysters are also a featured ingredient. Even the clock is themed after the Hiroshima Carp baseball team!

おたふくみかん
The grilled oysters made with Hiroshima oysters are bursting with rich flavor, making them the perfect pairing with beer. The signature Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki features chewy noodles and plenty of cabbage, topped with a lighter-than-expected sauce for a refreshing taste. Located just off Takeshita Street, this sophisticated Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki restaurant offers a calm and quiet atmosphere.

Taco Salad
A generous serving of chicken, along with plenty of beans and rice, makes this taco salad truly satisfying. At the end, you can enjoy the taco shell itself—the contrast between the crispy, fried top and the sauce-soaked, tender bottom is delightful. A hearty dish that leaves you completely satisfied.

Burrito
The first Salt Koji Beef Burrito I tried was absolutely delicious—freshly made and piping hot. I usually choose Mexican rice, sour cream, and black beans as fillings, with a regular level of spiciness. It may not look very large in the photos, but it's actually quite filling.

Peking duck is a signature dish where juicy meat, roasted over an open flame, is wrapped in its crispy skin. The freshly carved, crackling skin is said to pair exceptionally well with beer.

Peking Duck
At Peking Duck Senmonten Peking Kaoyaten, you can enjoy not only the crispy skin but also the flavorful meat. Freshly steamed pancakes are served with shredded scallions, cucumber, slices of Peking duck, and sweet bean sauce, all wrapped together for a delicious bite. The caramelized, crispy skin is especially delightful—so good, you'll want seconds. Peking duck also pairs excellently with alcoholic beverages.

Strip Loin and Chrysanthemum Greens Roll
The meat is incredibly tender—it practically melts in your mouth! You barely need to chew; it’s so soft you could almost drink it. The chrysanthemum greens add a perfect touch, enhancing the flavor beautifully. It was so delicious, I felt like I was in another world!

痩せたいけど食べたいの
It's fun to see classic yakitori negima (chicken and scallion) served as a deep-fried skewer. The chicken is pleasantly springy, offering a different texture from the melt-in-your-mouth beef or pork. The salmon sashimi that arrived partway through was rich and fatty, with the skin removed for a clean, delicious taste. Once again, I was thoroughly satisfied.

The story begins with Uni on Simmered Egg—a truly exceptional experience. The creative pairing of ingredients is simply outstanding. Not only are premium ingredients used, but each combination is masterfully crafted: for example, the subtle sweetness of sweet red beans inside lightly grilled mochi, followed by a burst of savory cheese just as you think, "This is delicious." Even the drinks reflect the same level of surprise and attention to detail.
