This spring, my friends who live in Kansai were both transferred to Kyoto, so the three of us decided to have dinner together while visiting. The restaurant we chose for two people who love alcohol is a place where you can relax and enjoy Kyoto-style seasonal cuisine at reasonable prices. The pleasant staff and owner will welcome you in the calm interior, and you can toast with sake of your choice. Seasonal dishes that go well with alcohol are slowly brought to you. The firefly squid with vinegar miso, the tuna in the fresh sashimi platter is exquisite, and I forget the name, but the bowl of fragrant grilled (fried) fish is topped with bean paste, and there's a bite of rice hidden underneath. This dish is irresistibly delicious. Grilled fish carefully grilled until fluffy and Tempura of wild vegetables such as fukinoto, which gives you a spring feel. Braised Kujo green onions and our signature grilled pork are served in the style of Peking duck, wrapped in spring rice cakes with aromatic vegetables. To finish off the meal, enjoy crab risotto-style rice porridge with powdered cheese, and refresh your palate with matcha ice cream. I was very satisfied with this casual kappo restaurant where you can enjoy Kyoto-like cuisine that has a lot of content for the price (a course of just under 8,000 yen). The drinks were delicious and it was a fun night in Kyoto.
