初訪問。ゴールデンウィークで営業している焼き鳥屋は貴重。そんな焼き鳥屋に電話で「持ち帰り」の予約を入れてお腹を空かして訪問。
指定された時刻まで車で待機すること7分。お金を握りしめて入り口を開ける。
カウンターに持ち帰りの2人客が並んでいる。その後尾につく。誰も私に反応しないので「予約したものです。」とカウンターの方にひとこと放つと横にいた焼き方が「ちょっと待ってて」とのこと。受付のシステムがわからないので待ちます。並んで待ちます。
もし私が食べに来た客であっても待たせるシステムなのかしら？
前の持ち帰り客の精算が終わり、自分の番かと思いきや、ちょうど入店してきたお客さんが「モツ10本！持ち帰り」と注文。おもむろにモツを数え出すお店の方。私は一体何？並んでいるのになぜ？この店のシステムは？？
そのうちにカウンターの方が私に気づきひとこと「何か注文？」
あはは…
「予約してたものですが…」
この後、精算額の計算が始まる。50分前に予約したんだから総額くらい計算しておいてスムーズに対応すべき。と、横入りしたモツ10本が先に精算されるのを横目に思った。
家に戻り開梱。モツ、精肉、豚、タン、ネギま、つくね、手羽先。串でこれだけ持ち帰りバリエーションを持っているお店はここだけ。これはありがたい。
まずネギま。いい焼き加減。いい塩加減。塩梅がいい。
モツ。噛み応えあり。脂がうまい。
豚。焼き過ぎ感。塩振りにバラツキ。残念。
タン。うーん、今ひとつ。タンのコリコリ感が… レバーぎ混じってる？
手羽先。かわいい大きさ。味、肉の柔らかさが良い。ジューシー。
と感じつつ11串を30分くらいで完食。なんだかんだ言ってもおいしかった。
