バウムクーヘンにもトレンドがあると思うのですが、人気店で扱われているバウムクーヘンの殆どが「ふんわり系」で…正直、好みじゃなかったります。
やっぱりバウムクーヘンはハード系、そして層の１つ１つを感じられれるようなタイプじゃないと♪という事で、期待を込めて「堅焼きばうむ」を購入してみました。
おすすめ通り縦にカットして頂いてみますと、確かに変わった食感ですね。
外はカリっとしていて、内側はもっちりしています。
外側には砂糖がコーティングされていますが、それほど甘さが主張するタイプではないです。
発酵バター由来？の風味も良く、軽快で良く出来たバウムクーヘンだと思います。商品名通りの固い食感も好みです。
ただ、軽～く食べられてしまうだけに、満足度の割にはお値段もちょっと高めかな？（素材が上質なのは分かりますが。）
