とある休日、予定していたお店が早くも長蛇の列になっていたのでブックマーク第２候補のこちらにお邪魔させて頂きました札幌駅北西方向のビル５階にありますステーキ屋さんです。
ビルに現着し改めて何故ここをブックマークしたのか？全く思い出せませんが結構真新しそうなビルエレベーターにて５階へ、ドアオープンからダイレクトに続く店内は、オープンなスペースにテーブルはザックリ数えたら10卓位で、どうやらたまたま早かったから入店出来るも大半は予約席だったようで後からドンドンお客さん入って来て満席になり３卓分位場所を取ったキッズスペースが忙しいのに必要？とも考えられます。
BGMはジャズが流れています。
この日メニューより、予習していなかったので何がウリか分からず左上の白老牛のサーロインは高そうなので”白老牛の120gハンバーグ(1200円税)withオニオンソース”と・・・やはり気になったらしょうがないので“白老牛のかたさんかく＠24円を100g(2400円税)withマスタードマヨネーズ”と一緒にお願いしてみます。。。ん？お姉さんよりそれぞれセットになるからとご飯やらサラダ＆スープをどうするかお姉さんと会話が全く噛み合わないままオーダーします。
先発隊のサラダ到着可愛らしいサイズで細切り大根メインのお豆さん乗ったオリジナルドレッシングにて。オニオンスープは甘さとお酒の風味漂うタイプ。
ハンバーグ到着！120gなので鉄板の空白部分が多いのはやむを得ないですが、だからこそ別注のステーキと一緒にして欲しかったです。
では一口・・・ふむふむ、確かに美味しいではあります。変な表現ですが雑味の無いお肉の味わいが良くて脂身の甘さが少し加わっていました。しかしながら白老牛ブランドの恩恵は僕には謎で、サイドにはステーキと共に玉ねぎ、ジャガイモ、カボチャ辺りを確認出来ました。
ほぼ同時にステーキ鉄板到着！100gながらこちらの方がまだ絵になります。
では・・・ホウ、サーロインの半分位の値段ではありますがさすが脂身の上品な甘さがグッド、更に赤身の柔らかさと牛肉らしい味わいも伝わり、マスタードマヨネーズはちょっと押し出し強過ぎでしたがご飯は進みました。
そのご飯だけは何故だか２個来てビックリ、１つ分がボリューム無かったから良かったです。
ふと、白老牛のハンバーグは価格帯としてチョイスしたくなるお値段ですが、到着すれば見た目チープなので演出変えた方が良さげに感じます。また個人的には次回はやはりハンバーグではなく白老牛に限らずステーキものを適当な金額で選びお願いしそうです。
何はともあれ駅からちょっとだけ離れていますが大人気みたいなステーキ屋さんでした。
