I've known about the store's existence for a long time, but there's almost no information about it, including Tabelog. Moreover, I was worried about the cost performance of a Sushi located in the middle of an upscale bar district in Kokura Kita Ward, but I mustered up the courage to make a reservation, and visited for the first time. People enter the store. I entered the luxurious entrance, sprinkled my fingers with the provided disinfectant, and took a seat at the left end of the counter. First, I ordered a draft beer. At this point, I noticed that there was no price displayed on the menu...and I couldn't find a drink menu...I felt a sweat run down my back (lol) After reading Tabelog post, I realized that it wasn't that expensive. I knew it wasn't there, but I was a little worried. . . As for the cooking, since it was my first time at the restaurant, I consulted with the guy at the restaurant and left it to him. Then, quench your thirst with draft beer while eating the appetizer Junsai. After that, the sashimi came out, but at this restaurant, it is served in two pieces at a very fast pace, which is unusual. At this point, I changed to sake. Again, I asked my brother and decided on the brand. There seem to be about 7 types in total. After that, we had conger eel wrapped in seaweed, steamed shrimp, and then tempura, which is also in the restaurant's name. Speaking of tempura, I can't forget Kyosei's tempura in Kyoto, but I wonder how it turned out.The title is full of spoilers, but in conclusion, it's excellent. It's fried right in front of the counter where I'm sitting, and served one by one. I never thought I would be able to get tempura of this quality in Kokura, but the flavor of the ingredients trapped in the ultra-thin koromo is amazing. After I received several types of tempura, the man in charge of tempura (by the way, there is only one man) said, ``Here, we only have one dish. What else will you do? ”, so I ordered additional tempura. At this moment, a person who appeared to be a regular customer at the far right of the counter approached the tempura topping case diagonally in front of me to the right and ordered a single item. From there, I observed the order status of this regular customer, and I realized that this is a very flexible restaurant where you can order just one piece of tempura. By the way, this regular customer was eating a highball made with potato shochu...There are many types of shochu displayed near the restaurant's kitchen, and there are dozens of types, including the high-quality Mori Izo. Lastly, I ordered some Sushi to finish the meal, but I took the opportunity to order it from the guy who took care of me the whole day. The standard menu was a 10-piece set, but judging from the behavior of the regulars earlier, it seems that you can also order whole pieces. So, when I was checking the consistency, the regular customer from earlier said, ``Oh, that's unusual. This is also a learning experience,'' he said. Apparently, the older brother is only halfway through his training in Sushi. Of course, it was a decent nigiri Sushi, but I guess I still need some training to reach the level of a famous Sushi restaurant (lol) After that, I was a little nervous when I asked for the bill, but it was just ¥15,000. . This price includes 3 draft beers, 5 glasses of Japanese sake, and an additional order to the omakase menu. Great value for money. The customer base is on the older side, so it might be difficult for young people to enter, but I think it's a good store. Thank you for the meal. Next time, I would like to try different times and try different ingredients.
