I went to Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) san, an izakaya on Watanabe Street. It's a bit of a walk from Tenjin, so it's an area I don't go to often, but I was introduced to this by a colleague who was on a business trip from Tokyo, as he was able to eat live squid and Hot Pot at the same time. So, the dish is a course of live squid and Hot Pot. A pretty impressive platter of live squid and sashimi came out, and not only the squid but also the sashimi were fresh and delicious. But the most delicious thing was Hot Pot! I love Hot Pot, and Hot Pot at this restaurant is really delicious! I go to most of the famous restaurants in Fukuoka, but personally, I think this restaurant's Hot Pot is my favorite. The soup was really delicious ♩ I didn't need any meat or vegetables, so I just wanted to keep drinking the soup. Overall, the food was very delicious, and although it's a bit of a walk from Tenjin, I plan to come back again.
