When I came to Shimonoseki, I had to eat Fugu, so I came to Shunpanro. There is also a branch in Tokyo, but the main branch is here. 下関と言えば河豚。と言うことで2月にもお邪魔した春帆楼さん、今年2回目の往訪となりました。この日は平日の昼、1万円程の河豚コースになります。テッサ、唐揚げ、鍋などの河豚尽くし。
個室から関門海峡、対岸の門司をみながら、河豚を楽しむことができます。こちらでは、フグでは無く、福にかけてフクと言うのは有名な話だそう。
春帆楼さんには、歴代総理の書が彼方此方に掛けてあります。お膝元、安倍晋三元首相はもちろん、下関条約を結んだ場所は春帆楼さんの前にある建物。伊藤博文、山縣有朋、歴代首相の直筆の書を見るだけでも価値があります。わざわざ行ってでもリピートしたくなるお店です。
