Yuda Onsen/Horse Meat Full Course
A hidden hideout in the alleys of Yuda Onsen. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is perfect for an adult date, and I've been there several times, but this was my first time going for the banquet course. The course is a deluxe version. The four types of horse sashimi are lean, otoro, mane, and heart. All of them are delicious, but my favorite is probably the heart. The horse Yakiniku (Grilled meat) is also delicious. Compared to beef or pork, it is lighter and easier to eat. Both go well with beer, but I thought sake would go well with horse sashimi, so I ordered cold sake. The cherry minced meat is also delicious. This is also lighter and easier to eat than Fried food beef or pork. A satisfying course that includes dessert.
湯田温泉 美味しい馬肉料理と隠れ家雰囲気が最高
飲食店が並ぶ湯田温泉の中では少しメイン通りから外れた場所にあるこの店。
前回訪れた際に美味しい馬刺しと落ち着く雰囲気が気に入って再訪した。
店に入ると決して明るくない照明が、この歳になると落ち着く。
この日はカウンター席に案内される。
周りは馬肉の焼肉を食べているお客様が多いが、僕らは馬刺しと桜メンチを注文。
ビールを頼み乾杯する。
馬肉の煮込みのようなお通しを食べながら料理を待つ。
刺身が出てくる。
４種の刺身はどれも美味しい。
これは冷酒に良く合うのかな。
続いて出て来た桜メンチ。
普通のメンチよりあっしりした感じで食べやすい。
これはビールもハイボールも合う。
時折サラダも食べながら飲む。
肉料理なのに比較的クドくなく食べられる。
雰囲気も含め満足な店だ。
湯田温泉 上質な馬肉料理が楽しめる大人の隠れ家
湯田温泉のメイン通りから少し駅方面に向かったあたりにも飲食店が点在し、結構シブい名店が多い。
以前からその辺りに馬肉の専門店があると聞いていたが中々行く機会がなかったが、是非行ってみたという希望もあり予約して行ってみた。
店構えも店内も上品な感じで中々の名店風。
店内の照明も明るくなく大人のデートに最適な雰囲気だ。
料理は馬肉中心で、刺身の４点盛を注文した。
赤身、大トロ、ハツ、タテガミ。
どんな肉でも好きなハツはもちろん、まぐろでも敬遠する大トロも絶品。
これは名店確定だ。
馬肉で作った桜メンチも肉のコロッケとは違ってさっぱりしていて美味しい。
これはビールによく合う。
時間があれば、ビール以外の酒も楽しみたいところだが、この日は時間もなく断念。
是非とも再訪したい店だ。

湯田温泉のメイン通りから入った路地にあるこの店。
店に入るとライトが落としてある感じで落ち着きがある。隠れ家的な雰囲気が良い。
この日はコース。
馬刺から馬肉の焼肉まで品数も多いし美味しい。
まずは馬刺。
４種の馬刺はどれも美味しいが、ハツがお気に入り。肉の刺身としては淡白で美味しい。
そして焼肉。
これが馬肉料理の中で最も好き。
牛や豚に比べてあっさりしていて癖がなく食べやすい。
酒はビールから冷酒までコースにある。
馬刺や馬肉料理を食べながら飲む酒は美味しかった。
