Tsukemen Maze-soba Sakura has closed in Uozu City, but I feel at ease knowing that the branch at Maruto is always accessible.
Time flies since its opening, and this was my first visit.
The photo shows the mixed mazesoba, which I mixed thoroughly, along with a limited-time menu featuring some ingredients.
I was so eager to mix it right after it was served that I forgot to take a photo... it was freshly made.
The noodles, menma (bamboo shoots), chashu (braised pork), and raw egg were all rich in flavor and paired well with rice.
I added some black shichimi for a kick, enhancing the taste with the enticing aroma of sansho pepper.
I finished every bit without leaving a drop of broth.
